Kind of a thought in this vein of testing, are you able to see the different flagged areas in DS2 or even 1 with your current tools? Or is it merely guesswork to say when the expel field in the memory ends? Thats actually quite funny, cause Vendrick does not wear the crown the crown wears him, that is to say: unlike most kings that take ownership of their dominion in Vendrick's case it is the dominion that owns him as his whole character revolves around failing to find a way to appease everyone.

What if Vendrick took his crown and threw it as far as he could into the darkness behind him, right before he went hollow O.o

The thing that threw me off about the crown was that From doesn't typically bother hiding stuff offscreen for cutscenes outside of the cutscene itself, but then I remembered that this is Dark Souls II, the engine is very different from the other games and I should forget about how From "typically" does things.
