I'm part Japanese and my grandmother is from Kumamoto, but I never met her. Earlier this year, I move there and learned to respect the culture in all of its subtleties. Having lived there and with a foreigner's perspective, I saw and have seen foreigners talking loudly on the train, throwing trash on the street, stealing my wallet, and acting bombastic in public. Foreigners are sometimes viewed in a negative perspective understandably. I hope that anyone who visits Japan will appreciate it's culture while remaining respectful to the people, as the foreigner must understand that it is not their country and the views on social media are so fake for the blatant disrespect.

I live in Orange County, CA. This place is and was considered a theme park for tourists, especially Japanese. But, they did it quietly and respectfully.
The foreigners did it noisily and disrespectful.

I've seen several videos now about this, you're all referring to this black dude and his friends as proof that "the foreigner situation in Japan is so bad".
Is it that bad though? Because all I ever see is this one dipsh*t streamer and maybe a couple more. I'm fairly certain that the vast majority of tourists aren't there to create a spectacle wherever they go. They might not all be familiar with the local customs, but most of them are probably trying their best to fit in.
