I've noticed that kids who vividly remember their past lives often had a violent death or accident. I don't think those who die naturally remember their past life for long. It's not just chance - they tend to be reborn close to where they died. Their connection to their past life is strong! It's really strange when a 4-5 year old starts saying things they couldn't possibly know at their age or from others.
