ОтветитьYou teach me so much about philosophy, providing me a vocabulary and historical reference, thanks! I'm glad you liked the video.
Ответитьthis is an amazing piece...so much energy...and love the last bar...the way it just ends....haunting....
ОтветитьI agree one hundred percent
ОтветитьLove the music, this is one of my favourite Glass albums, but I particularly like your use of the Dan Flavin art, Oltre.
ОтветитьƸ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ ... ♥

ОтветитьDays of fishes?
ОтветитьSTRANGER THINGS, ANYONE???
ОтветитьStranger things 2, episode 5, Eleven's mom repeating those words on the wheelchair.
ОтветитьOnly 3 words... OPEN THE KINGDOM
ОтветитьS2 E5 Stranger Things
ОтветитьIf there are any artists listening to this Alex Grey had this playing during an art retreat at Omega. It was life altering.
ОтветитьDoes it say "Oh, bella figa" or "Ode alla figa"?
ОтветитьWhen I watched the scene from Stranger Things, I knew it was Glass even though I never heard that piece before and despite it only being played for a moment. Too epic and amazing to be anyone else.
ОтветитьEleven

ОтветитьBreathe...sunflower...rainbow...450...Three to the right four to the left...repeat
ОтветитьAny information about the pictures used for the video? I would like to know about The art installation showcased. Is beautiful. Thanks. 👍
ОтветитьI love this piece so much. I wonder what the Stranger Things fans thought when they came here and found out that there was actually a voice part? Kind of like finding out that Beethoven's Ninth has a voice part.
ОтветитьSuch a powerful piece, beautiful.

When I hear 'Open the Kingdom' it reminds me of the foolish virgins who didn't have extra oil for their lamps and when they went back to get more and then came to the banquet they were sent away. I can imagine them hammering on the door and asking 'Open the Kingdom'.
Ответить🔥
ОтветитьEven so, come Lord Jesus and set up
Your Kingdom and destroy Satan and
all those who refuse the way of life
the visuals go along with the music perfectly. Minimalist visuals for minimalist music.
ОтветитьDan Flavin and Philip Glass are a bomb combo
ОтветитьA friend told me some years back that he didn't care for Glass's music - he found it cold, mechanical. I was astonished, as I have always found it some of the most emotionally powerful music I've ever heard. Several years ago I attended a performance here in Torino, Italy, of Akhenaten. This was also stunning. The lead part was sung by a male soprano, and he was great. They've come a long way in technique since the days of Farinelli. I'm not expert enough to say whether Douglas Perry is a soprano, alto, or contralto. But whatever he is, he's a marvel.
ОтветитьSoooo Good !! So many hues, variaciones, so Weird 😅
