I wish someone helped me think about thinking as a child. I was diagnosed with ADHD at 25, and I thought I had been dumb my whole life but adderall was prescribed which helped me graduate college summa cum laude, but also initiated metacogniton which runs out of control for me to the point where I’m too anxious To get stuff done.

Thank you for the metacognition example. Throughout the years I have succumbed to a degree of brain rot. Some of these little things in the metacognition videos I have just watched reminded me of how I used to wield this skill adeptly. I can feel myself getting back on track.

I didn't know about this. All this time, I thought this was considered as "context clues". Thank you for bringing light to this.
