What kind of documentary mentions The White Rose Movement but doesn't say anything about the fate of its leaders? Brother and sister Hans and Sophie Scholl were executed by guillotine in Munich on February 22 1943 as was their friend Christophe Probst. Three other student members of The White Rose were also subsequently executed. The Munich Police today are still thugs. I also found them to be seriously homophobic.

Oh I loved that. Born and raised in Munich, and still coming back once a year for a month. Very few things I did not know about, much appreciated. I lived right next to the Englischer Garten for three years, like 30 seconds walk, kinda backyard, and I loved a few trees I hugged every day , and played Frisbee and got stoned on the 'Big lawn' in front of Monopterus. And up there I met one of the women who changed my life forever. I love Munich and my roots there, cheers, and of course I love Weissbier, especially 'Andechser Hefeweizen Naturtrüb'.

Just wanted to mention that Weißwurstfrühstück isn't something us folks from Munich would usually have for breakfast, as traditionally we wouldn't eat meat or sausages on a weekday. It's something special and was considered a luxury in the old days.
Typical traditional breakfast also doesn't include beer, it usually consisted of bread, butter, jam and coffee with milk.

Nice tour, but certainly not alternative, showing the main sights of Munich, and rather stereotypical of Bavarians… it’s not normal to drink beer in the morning. The most alternative unknown thing is the Großhessloherbrücke. Everything else is tourist magnet that all walking tours take you to.
