At the start of the video, would you have to indicate?
Ответитьno one teach 9-10 if it goes red, when it's heavy traffic thanks
ОтветитьWhat I see on the streets, nothing can be considered as a mistake unless it happens on the PDA or causes any serious consequences. People drives their cars as they want - don't indicate turns, don't check blind spot (very common), cross solid lines, overspeed
Ответитьsuch a helpful video thank you . loved how you talked about other car mistakes too !
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьNever turn your wheels when waiting at a right hand turn. If someone rear-ends you, you will travel head on into oncoming traffic. Always keep your wheels straight until you start moving again
Ответитьhello! i have a question about turning from the middle when the light has turned red. i just got in to a situation were i was waiting in the middle to turn on a super busy street so i had to wait for the light to turn red before i could but as i went to go, a ute was turning left onto the same street as me. as my light was red, i proceeded to turn but saw the ute did have a green arrow to turn as well. what can you do in this situation? like i can't just stay blocking the intersection but i also dont want to mess with someone who has a green light 😭 this was in qld btw
Ответитьyou should get like a million likes, really appreciate this video.
ОтветитьWe should provide also dashcam
ОтветитьWow! This is a well-explained video I have ever watched.
ОтветитьGot my red p’s yesterday, crashed today bc of this, thankfully everyones okay, but definitely a lesson
Ответитьam I not allowed to cross the painted square while waiting in the intersection? should I wait right before the square? thank you
ОтветитьGreat explanation however this is the stupidest rule and the cause of so many accidents. Mainly when in the middle of the road and the light turns amber and the approaching car speeds up and the turning car assumes they are slowing down. Being from nz they have no traffic lights that operate like this , green arrow turn, red arrow stop, no confusion, no accidents
ОтветитьThis vedio very helpful for me thank you sir
ОтветитьI’ve been driving since I was 19. 33 now. Never crashed. I live in England, however I’m spending a month in australia and hiring a car. I’m an experienced driver but I’m nervous about driving there. Is it exactly the same as England?
Ответить@DrivingSchoolWA that's what I saw happen today at the intersection of Berwick Street and Canning Highway a car was in the middle waiting to turn without the arrow, 2 cars also went in the middle to wait with the first car to go all at once 3rd car nearly got stranded in the middle
Ответитьsolid advies
ОтветитьThanks for posting so helpful video. You help me figure out my confusion. It also works in new Zealand.
ОтветитьHey, I'm from a small town and I'm not familiar with traffic lights.
If you proceed to the middle where the square is and the light turns orange, if the traffic coming from the other direction doesn't stop are you safe to just wait for the flow to stop?
Or does the traffic from the other side get a red light for 3 seconds?
many thanks mate.
ОтветитьWe in Australia try to have rule for every driving situation We never mention Courtesy Just a thought
ОтветитьThank U DSW
Ответитьthis really make me confused :-(
ОтветитьVery helpful video, thank you !
Been driving for over 20 years and found it very informative and learned something valuable
Great video! The only thing I want to add is, watch out for pedestrians who are going to cross the road you're turning into. It happens often enough that people see a gap, think they are fast enough to turn right, but then overlook a pedestrian crossing the road and have to wait in the middle of the road.
ОтветитьBig Error in your advice. You do not need to wait for the first driver entering to complete his turn before moving in behind him! Please explain.
Ответить@DrivingSchoolWA - What should be done when you are waiting in front of the white line at the intersection giving way to traffic from opposite direction till it is safe to cross, but then there is a pile-up on the other side with lots of opposite oncoming vehicles turning left and there is no space left for you to turn and fit in that lane anymore when it is safe for you turn or the light has jsut turned amber/red. If you commit and turn when the green light turned amber/red, then you will be literally blocking the intersection as well as the pedestrian crossing. also you are stranded ahead of you white solid line and can't reverse back? What should be done in similar situations?
ОтветитьIn Melbourne the “rule” is wait your turn to turn right while oncoming traffic run the red lights. 😂
Ответитьi failed on this share light. your videos are great.
ОтветитьThank you ❤
ОтветитьSorry dumb question! What if you get caught by the red light while waiting for the traffic to clear in the middle of the intersection? Do you still proceed with the turn? Thank you!
ОтветитьA hidden gem! This is the only yt channel that explains plain, simple and easy to understand. Thank you sir!
Ответитьfascinating how something so fundamental for EU learner is advanced knowledge for others
ОтветитьSo what if you’ve been waiting in the middle and it’s very busy and it goes red for you? You say you have 3 seconds but isn’t it illegal to go through red light or does it not count because you’re already over the white line?
ОтветитьThat red arrow makes me confused sometimes. 😮
ОтветитьWhat if u got stuck In The middle because there was a bike ahead and then it wa stop much traffic so scary
Ответитьkeep an eye on the lights, wait for 1 person to go if he is in the middle, don't over shoot the white lines, once you are in the middle give way for oncoming vehicles once the red light is show the vars will stop, go???
Ответитьis this rule is applicable in new zealand?
ОтветитьVery useful video
Ответить@DrivingSchoolWA I'm getting better and more confident how to do this! Your videos and your lessons definitely have helped me! I love your work Steve keep up the awesome work!
ОтветитьDriving 💯 % like us in South Africa 🇿🇦 I don't need any lessons in Australia with South Africa license
ОтветитьThank you for this, much appreciated.
Ответитьwhile waiting in the middle to turn, should you point your tyres straight or just have them turned waiting to make the turn?
