Dead Island 2 Got Leaked With A New Release DATE After 8 Years

i was a big fan of dead island 1 but at this point im not really hyped about DI2, there is simply no reason.. this footage from this old build looks awful, so i just wait until i see some trailers from the actual game...

I'm not exactly holding my breath for this. I'm definitely not pre ordering it. I'm gonna wait for reviews on it.

Dying light 2 and dead island 2 will both be at gamescom. Imagine the techland office this morning when they all woke up and read about dead island 2 lol.

I hope it's as good as the first game. For DL2 I hoped it was better so ig my wishes aren't ready to be fulfilled yet so atleast as good as the first one lol

I just can’t bring myself to be hyped for this game… it’s been way too long in “development” & has changed so many dev hands over the years. It doesn’t even look enjoyable from the drip fed content I’ve been following over the years. The vision of Dead Island that Techland started surely won’t be the same in this game. This is going to be a shell of a zombie game that’s just trying to use the Dead Island name to sell copies. No different than what happened with the mess that is Back 4 Blood. A company just using name recognition to sell products.

I did a double take, triple take, and a quadruple take when I saw Wario tweet this. I then proceeded to read it 3 times just to make sure I got it right. Even then I still couldn't believe it lol

that's awesome news can't wait dead island 1 and riptide have always been one my favourite games and i still go back and play them to this day never get bored with it so this is at the top of my bucket list soon as it comes out i'm getting it (fingers crossed)

considering past events with what happened when game was supposed to release and the fact that multiple game devs were fired working on it and false release dates with multitude of stalling. i'll believe it when i see it

Hopefully its moddable (whether officially supported or unofficially ) as that's what has really kept the games alive at this point

I'm excited I'd probably preorder it just to have a physical copy without a sticker mark on it, and maybe some extras depending on if the GameStop employee is chill or not.

Tbh I love di 1 and riptide but I don't have high hopes besides dl 1 wins my favorite zombie game with dl 2 coming in second with the dead island 1 in 3rd and riptide in 4th

i wont take this leak serious, last time there was a release date leak, the game still never came out. im not hoping for anything till we get gameplay. the only gameplay we got is very old, and the most recent gameplay was from a leak which is also very old and the game looked like shit in it.

Always loved dead island better than dying light, this is excellent news.

What i would love to see (since i saw comments here about it) is that getting infected was a thing for the player character, now my twist would be to put a ultra nightmare difficulty of sorts , like in doom eternal, where if you die that's it, you're done start over again. So in this case you get bitten ONCE and you're DONE, that's how it should be. And to satisfy everyone and actually making it a challange leaving it to difficulty ratings would pretty much fix everything.

One thing i hate in dead island game is draining of stamina the should exclude this thing in dead island 2 game i played many horror zombies game but days gone will be always in my heart
