ОтветитьDont over heat your engines blokes!!! Make sure you are topped off with clean fluids
Ответитьthis is pretty bad ass. People really lack brain cells to not understand the title
ОтветитьAmen!
ОтветитьHe needs to Skim his camera lens
ОтветитьDude you just literally inspired me to do this job thank you so much man I appreciate your video
ОтветитьGenius ghetto greatness. Bravo.
Ответитьme right now, watching the digital tomb of knowledges
ОтветитьCan you do video on Acura rdx 2019 how to change head gasket and clean and replace cylinder ring
ОтветитьI always just assumed what I had heard "Only a machine shop can get it truly straight" and also they can check for cracks. But it's definitely possible.
ОтветитьIn 2024 to get your head resurfaced your going to pay close to $200.00,I have a v6 honda x2 heads.I'm going to try this if it I can't make it work ill put a junkyard motor in it.Thanks alot.
ОтветитьI do the same but use plate glass its perfectly flat
ОтветитьGood work brother. Very good
ОтветитьI was looking for a way to surface my ATV head and came across your video. Thanks for showing me a DIY at home way to do it and save money! God Bless You
ОтветитьAs a DIY'er I love this kind of stuff. Bless you for taking the time to make this video brother 🙏
Ответить"still works in *insert year*" 😂👌
ОтветитьNice! Ive done this on a few small engine heads with success. Its funny if you think about it. The ways on milling machines, lathes and grinders ect are all hand scraped flat with a surface plate, marking blue and a scraper. People still hand lap parts too.
ОтветитьThis actually works on a cast iron head but it doesn't"t work on an aluminum head!
ОтветитьMaaaaaaan gow the timea have changed.. i love how he says "save 45 50 bucks its damn near 150 in jersey Pa area to cut a head now..
Good shit bro
great words mate! so true! thank you for putting this vid together 👍👍
Ответитьdid it twice all ready this does work both cars ran great
ОтветитьThis is really cool! What car is this from? And why did it warp in the first place?
ОтветитьDid the same on this video got the head flat but i got close to the indicator, now im wondering if the head will be ok to install
ОтветитьWould this also work for scratches and pits in the mating surface?
Ответитьcame here to learn how to fix the head on my car, the message at the end of the video fixed the head on my shoulders. God bless!
ОтветитьThank you for the idea and the wisdom at the idea, OG. Stay safe out there.
ОтветитьGreat job man
Ответитьwhat is it with black people and imaginary haters? just do your thing don't even acknowledge the so called haters" existence
Ответить“Still works in 2023” 😂 like its going to get patched one day
ОтветитьIt seems like this would work so long as you checked that the ends are bowed toward the block because of it was the other way around and the highpoint was in the middle it would rock back and forth and make it worse
ОтветитьWhat sandpaper we must use ?
ОтветитьI thought about doing that as well and im glad to see it can work. Bravo and props!
Ответитьانگلیسی بلد نیستم بنویسم یکی ب من بگه کاغذ سمباده ای ک استفاده کرد اسمش چیه
Ответить2000th of an inch is thicker(!) than 4000th of an inch. So testing the end result with a 2000th of an inch if you have 4000th, doesnt make sense. I get the idea though. Great video !
ОтветитьIf shit hits the fan, I want to be on your team.
Ответитьsaw one funny mechanic video resurfacing the cylinder head by simply putting sanding surface on rough shop floor. a quick swirl and its done. dont think its an approved method.
ОтветитьWhat about a flat sander lol that’s electrical
ОтветитьCame to fix leaking coolant ,the message at the end left me with leaking eyes ! 😢thank you brother !
Ответить32yr old female here. worked as an inspector in machine shops most my career. I just skimmed/resurfaced my cylinder head at home by myself. And it was warped pretty baaaaaaaddd. So i didn't have to apply any added force that'll cause any further damage i got a 3/4" thick piece of 304ss sprayed 1 face with some laydown blue. Got that flat. Then roughed the head wit a 17" planer w/ 120grit so i could cross face it. Hit it with laydown again then 304ss plate with 220 than 400 and a final 1200. Boy that little bastard runs like it stole something now!
ОтветитьI wish this was 45 bucks now lmao. Here in Michigan it's 85 now per head
ОтветитьBeautiful.
ОтветитьI always wonder, shouldn't you be concerned about the orbital balance of the sand? What if you flatten the surface but grind one side more and end up with a slope on the surface? Maybe keep a water level gauge on the sandpaper while doing it?
ОтветитьThis has been so exceptional. Thank you for sharing— i rebuilt my entire engine and the leak was huge… i didnt deck the head. Now i can. Thank you!!!
ОтветитьНадеюсь, вы отдаете себе отчет, что подобными действиями проявляете неуважение к фрезеровщику и лишаете его куска хлеба (шутка)😂
ОтветитьIf it works it works especiallly now days anything goes fk the world is out to rip each other off lol
ОтветитьVery nice.
