Excellent video as always! Feeling better already after a few reps of everything suggested! Unfortunately, i think this is now a long term issue- why is it the more birthdays i have the crappier i feel 😂
ОтветитьI wish I had come across this advice when I was forced to stop running a few years ago
ОтветитьThanks for this video
ОтветитьThe hip stretch actually worked for me !
ОтветитьMine just started a week ago after a night out in dress shoes. The heel pain felt like i stepped on broken glass - i was so scared until i saw this video. I have very tight calf muscles and hips - i just did the stretches and it feels better already
ОтветитьDoing it your way make me feel less pain already 😊
ОтветитьDo I need to rest for several days in order to heal? I've been doing the stretches for 2 days, and it seems like it's improving, but if I walk or I stand for long periods of time, the pain comes back.😢
ОтветитьI tried everything!
After 3 years...... i gained weight after developing PF because it was just to darn painful to run or even gym, finally, after one month of a good rogue legion whey protein and marine collagen peptides and my tens unit on my feet and calves one week only and now my pain is almost gone!
Previously I did all the stretching strengthen for feet and calves and used collagen but nothing.
I'm excited to start doing these instead of the ones from the clinic which seem to be making things worse... Like the stair drop and fasciitis massage.
ОтветитьThis stretch helped me end 9 months of daily pain. Thanks so much Jeff and the Athlean X team for all you do.
ОтветитьI have shared your videos and tips with friends and family. This has healed me. God bless you!
ОтветитьAfter 2 years foot pain and expertises with the Ball im going 2 try this!!
ОтветитьUsed the tennis ball at work great help and I was stretching a few days ahead but still having pain intermittently.
ОтветитьI was wearing all flats and overweight
ОтветитьGonna do this ty
ОтветитьI got pain in the bridge of my foot tho.
ОтветитьYou just described my exact problem. Bad right hip and PF on my left foot
ОтветитьSo many people have weakened tibialis posterior, tight and weak calves. However, if someone has weak peroneals/fibularis muscles, wouldn't the force onto the lateral foot, strain them? This is a quesiton, not a criticism as I am not qualified to criticise.
Ответить@Athleanx just wanted to say thank you.. I have had bad ankle issues since I was SIXTEEN! It lasted for soo many years. Doctors said it was "just soreness" even though I told them I couldn't walk in the morning and it literally was horrible and a detriment to my entire life. Later on I had other doctors tell me that I should get screws in both feet.
I have NEVER been more grateful to have procrastinated on something in my entire life! Since I started doing this a few weeks ago, I haven't had the horrible pain ONCE, and while I didn't have it every day, it would come every few days, especially on long days at work. And I was only doing it for a few seconds at a time 2-3x a day. I recently started doing 20-30 seconds at a time for both feet and it seems even more improved! Seriously helped me so much with a problem I thought I was stuck with my whole life. And I heard horror stories about people who got the feet screws and ended up having them not work or horrible complications.
What if you are knock kneed?
Ответитьhow do u know if its Plantar Fasciitis or some Achiles issue where it connects to the heel?
ОтветитьRed light therapy fixed my problem in 4 treatments
Ответить14 months of dealing with PF and I'm so sick of it. This makes so much sense. Going to try these! I definitely have tight calves, hips, and low back. Thank you for this information!
ОтветитьI’ve got stiff calves due to hormone medication causing muscle spasms I my lower legs as well as torso. Left foot is the problem but so is my left hip. Hip pain and stiffness for about 1.5 years. Heel pain 3 days.
ОтветитьGreat video, I'll try these and see if they help. My heals hurt!
ОтветитьI’m 46 and for the past 3 months have had the worst pain from plantar fasciitis. I have basically been limping for the past three months and when I wake up in the morning I’m hopping around until the pain is manageable. I’m going to try this technique, I truly hope it works. Perhaps I should start going to the doctor to. I never go. 🤦🏻♂️
ОтветитьThis video is so awesome! thank you so much! The video really addressed how I should put my foot
ОтветитьDoes it matter if you do this while wearing shoes or not?
ОтветитьI will do this. Thanks
ОтветитьI actually had glute med pain last year, now bone spur on that side. I run half marathons. I will try both of these and hopefully can run again soon
ОтветитьI understand everything you are saying. But I wish you would do a short video focusing on slowly showing us exactly how this heel movement should be as you are following thru with the step. It's hard to tell in this video, its fast & we cant see the turn of the foot following thru the step b/c of your pants.
ОтветитьI am trying to clarify the heel roll. Taking a step, you stepon your inner heel side & roll to outer heel as you push off?
ОтветитьCan you do it barefoot
ОтветитьHave you had PF?
ОтветитьI start taking Boron and magnesium together..I've also done 20 heel drops every morning...I'm also on HRT...no more pain.
ОтветитьJust wondering if these exercises work for supination?
ОтветитьFfs my phone's spying on me for real.
ОтветитьI have planter facilities over 4 years now. Goung to try this. Will let you know if it works. I really need this to work, i barely can walk now in the mornings 😢
ОтветитьI get plantar fansciitis in my right foot. But I had a left hip replacement in 2021. Is it still safe for me to do the exercises crossing my left leg over the right as you demonstrated ? (I still use a pillow between my legs at night & was told I always will) Thanks
ОтветитьI've been feeling pain in the bottom of my foot lately, I went I need to look for one of your videos. Thanks man
ОтветитьThanks brother
ОтветитьThank you!
Ответитьcoming back to this video just to say thank you Jeff. after lots of trial n error with other stuff, this is the only video that finally helped my PF. the chronic pain has made me miserable you have no idea how relieved i felt after no longer stepping with pain.
ОтветитьJeff would you help us with a video about shin splints? Thank you!
ОтветитьThanks for the good tip.
One thing, makes it easier to see how you turn and holding the heel, if you hade no shoes on. 🦶
Thank you !
Great video. I would say most the time it’s all the same at at the hip/TFL/Psoas that’s actually causing it. Even if your calves are tight if you do these stretches and you feel the tightness in your high hip compartment then that’s really the culprit.
The last exercise against the wall to work the Glute Medius changed my life. Great video tho. 🙌🏽💯
Thankyou somuch for this video will surely try it. Even most of my physios dint explain this
ОтветитьDo you have any exercises for Taylor's Bunnions? Thanks
ОтветитьWould you recommend not running till the pain goes or is it ok to continue
Ответить
