Am I stupid or are there so many prostitutes on the streets?

There’s not much policing in WA state it seems (that or due staffing and funding their probably prioritizing shooting incidents, domestic violence, etc rather than prostitution and speeding). I don’t think we’re apart of the union anymore like we think we are. My understanding is the federal government takes over when things just get bad by policing; which in this case I think it’s lack of involvement. Then it’s generally easy to brush off with the public that there’s lack of funding to enforce (yet this is what the people want interestingly so nothing gets done and police loose funds…) The other states don’t want to pay for the BS we do here in WA state or fix anything if it goes bad. So IDK to me were some sort of off shoot anarchist state that gives people free jobs.

The woke Left has really f'd up Seattle-defunding the police, BLM, crime, and homelessness has skyrocketed, grafitti, drug use. Now, businessess and good people are moving out of Seattle because they don't want to live around theft, garbage, other crime, drug use, etc., and schools are closing. Seattle Public Schools has no one to thank but themselves for this. They were pushing the woke agenda. Principal Sansal... said, "It's who we are..." I quit because it's not who I was. I hope they're happy closing 11 or more elementary schools. The media is clueless blaming the pandemic. Uh, that's not the reason for closing the elementary schools. Sure they fired or let go of the woke city council, Mayor, prosecutor but too little too late. Seattle, you voted those people in. Now, you have to live with the consequences of their ways of governing. It may take decades to correct the mistakes that they have made and Seattle Public Schools should clean house also. They will not succeed until they get rid of the district leaders who pushed this stuff. Living with the sonsequences of their actions is brutal but oh well. I will not step foot in Seattle until it is back to normal which may take 20 or more years. I am moving to a Red state in 2 years when I retire-- peace and quiet--law and order.

Lived in Seattle my whole life. Sold my house and moved to Texas in 2016. In only 8 years the city I called home for 40 years is unrecognizable to me. Looks like a 3rd world country. Such a tragedy. Maybe decriminalizing crime and defunding police is a bad idea.
