No one needs to "panic"... let the official announcement come out & then find something to be upset about 😂
ОтветитьI traded in my 3080 TI got a 7900 XTX recently and was planning on getting a 5080 or a 5090 but if the price is anything above 1800, I will let them rot on the shelves And let the rest of the market and competition catch up to a reasonable point
Ответитьthis would explain why they stopped production of the 40 series and hiked the prices. they want people to buy the 50 series for what the hiked price is of a 40 series card
ОтветитьYou can safely ignore that Losertuber click bait video. He has no clue, he's just doing what he does.
ОтветитьAMD might just get my money this time,if its close to the 4080.
ОтветитьLett them rot on the shelves.
ОтветитьIt's not going to be as expensive as people are making it out to be. But it's not going to be cheap enough that people are going to line up to buy it either.
ОтветитьNo panic on the Titanic! There have been some place holders and everyone thinks "Oh, mon dieu! This is expensive!" Well... nothing said yet ;-)
ОтветитьThe 5090 is will be banned like the 4090 for sale in China by the US. Only 5090D is able to be sold?
ОтветитьYou don't need to learn Chinese to translate. Just draw letters in google translate and it will give you meaning.
Ответить5080 will be $900 and 5090 will be $1500
ОтветитьBoycotting NVidia is so easy. If AMD doesn't fuck this up, I'll be switching to team red. And if AMD is greedy as well, well... Intels battlemage will be the winner. I'm loyal to no company, because they aren't loyal to us. So fuck them!
ОтветитьIn the future:
Geforce 7090 Price: 5 Bitcoin......
MAKE AMD GREAT AGAIN!
ОтветитьPlease yall are ridiculous 😂 the 5090 will be 1999$
ОтветитьThe US prices don't include tax though right, until checkout? Then it's different from state to state? Any Australian price is what they pay to get it. Same goes for any price, it includes tax. Not add tax at the checkout to give the illusion it's cheaper than it actually is.
One aspect that isn't covered here is the potential trump tariff, since all these cards are imported. It will benefit Nvidia and manufacturers for the short term as they can jack prices with this looming threat. They'll also jack the prices in other markets with the excuse of closing price disparity. However it goes down, expect a sizeable profit for Nvidia next year.
thanks for the video very interesting stuff, people knock pre builds but iv had a Dell XPS 8930 For nearly 10 years it's been a monster of a machine, but it's needing to be retired as a 2ndry Pc now or be upgraded as games iv ran on it are now struggling but it's still going strong. I recently upgraded the PSU to a 750 and went from 48 Gb Ram to 64 Gb Ram I got in a Crucial sale it was well worth it. I'm in great position for the 50s series GPU cos the old 1060's done fantastic to hold up almost 10 years and skipped 20/30 series completely and get me considering 40/50 series. my three options are upgrade the 1060 to 4070 GPU that is the cheapest option at £500 or buy a 40 series Pre-build or hold out till next year n buy a 50 series Pre-build. either way the the upgrade will be astronomical in terms of specs to leap from 1060 to 40 or 50 series and something in the range of about 250+ performance increase for a 40 series upgrade or maybe 300+ performance increase for 50 series. It heavily depends on the 50 series tech specs but will it actually be a significant increase in performance over the 40 series? There's a good chance i could get a cheaper 4090 when the 50s series drops but it's still to early to say hopefully I'l know what to do by the end of January
Ответитьexactly why there has to be healthy competition
Ответитьyou are rich
ОтветитьDamn I been waiting to upgrade. I COULD buy it but SHOULD we support this shite?
ОтветитьEua=😮 no
Brazil:☠️
Hello! Why can Apple products cost 1000+ dollars and Nvidia can't? I think it deserves that price! I don't want to offend you in any way, but on planet Earth there are many people with big money who receive large sums of money per month! For them, buying such a product is not a problem! If we are talking about the middle class, then they can afford 5060 or 5070! The lower class may not change video cards so often! For example, once every 5 years! Therefore, I think the price makes sense! Thank you! Google translator was used
ОтветитьHi Paul on PC Part Picker today a 4090 fe is $3449.99 and the ROG in white is $3699.99 pre launch 5090
ОтветитьReally if you want Nvidia just bend over and take it up the wazoo and for professionals and AI you don’t have a choice. But for gamers if you don’t need the very top end then AMD and maybe Intel should do for decent performance at 1440p.
ОтветитьThe 5080 won't cost 1500 plus it will be the same 1200 or maybe 1300 max! This leak is not true, and btw. NVIDIA is known to change it's mind on prices just one day before the reveal I think nobody knows the real prices so yeah...
ОтветитьAs a enthusiast who owns 7900 XTX this looks depressing, whole generation only upgrade option seems to be 5090 and heck no I'm not paying that.
ОтветитьThis IS a legitimate leak: it's leaked ON PURPOSE in order to gauge the public outcry on whether they can get away with gouging the consumer that much... It's the new phrase I've coined -
Gouge Gauge.
Also, why is everyone surprised?... Jensen was VERY clear just before 40 series released that he "foresaw" GPU generations being released whilst the old gen was still availabe, and that they would be priced proportional to performance.
Once upon a time, you had the xx80ti being less than half the price of the Titan, but the titan was only 10-15% faster. Those days are gone. The 4090 was 50%-60% faster than the 4080, and was priced 60% more. Similarly, if the 5080 is faster than the 4080, it'll be priced (in)"appropriately" more than the 4080, and the 5090 will be nearly double the performance of the 5080, so it'll be nearly double the price.
Simples.
Jensen TOLD us 2 years ago that it was his future price plan. And here we are. So, once again, why is everyone surprised?!
From the strix price of $2000 in 2022, to this new price would be 30%... Weird, my $1.00 in 2022 compared to the worth of that same dollar in 2024, is $1.08. the math isn't working here, Nvidia.... ALSO WHAT IS CRAZY: in OCTOBER of 2022 inflation rate was 7.7. October of 2024 was only 2.6. Now less inflation, but NVIDIA hasn't got the memo..
FUck it, I'm buying a 5090 regardless... I need it to check email.
@REDGAMINGTECH
Top Line: 50 Series graphics card final announcement time
Next Row: January 2025 -- February 2025 -- March 2025
Third Row: Under January Those are "from" prices.. Under the other two (feb and mar) "unknown"
Last Row: As for the price, the 5090 is expected to start at 18,999 yuan.
Intel and AMD will happily fill the void that Nvidia will make if they push up the price again and people will move away from Nvidia this time. If 5080 is £1000 I’ll get it but if it’s more I’ll look for a 2nd hand 4090. I’m running 3090 at the moment.
ОтветитьIf they try to sell at the higher pricing that I have seen, I'll have to wait for the new AMD this time around.. I quit AMD back in the 1990s because of their crappy software, but seems like they might have gotten better..
ОтветитьWhat? Who the hell told the 5080 will be faster than a 4090? I thought this won't ne the case!?!?
ОтветитьThis is no longer a consumer/gamer card. This is a card for AI / game developers and streamers making money using it. They‘ll still sell more than they can produce.
ОтветитьI will not pay to the leather jacket man.
ОтветитьGaming GPUs are no longer Nvidia's bread and butter. They will charge what the market will bear.
ОтветитьI personally see no reason why nvidia wouldn't just charge these obscene prices, over and over again people pretend to be outraged by the new pricing, while the cards themselves sell out like hotcakes, theres no reason to believe they will not try to push the boundaries when every time they did so they have gotten rewarded. not panic, more like realistic expectations based on prior experiences regarding nvidia in recent generations
Ответитьim not upgrading sticking to the 4090
Ответитьgpu market is a mess AMD selling last gen parts games needing next gen parts to play with 2 different upscales. Only intel can save us lol.
ОтветитьI get it. Nvidia is now an AI company. Gamers are no longer the firm intended customers. I just buy AMD
ОтветитьLets go Team Red - new card with more vram and half the price and you take the market.
ОтветитьFrom looking at the local computer parts stores around me in Victoria (MSY, Scorptech, PC Case Gear)... they are either out of stock completely of the 4090 or have bumped up the price.. for example, a Asus Stryx 4090 is now at $4k AUD... madness... which this then leads me to believe they will discontinue the 4000 series, leaving the market with little choice in terms of what you're going to do, either jump ship to AMD or pay the Nvidia price and also sell your internal organs to get one...
ОтветитьYeah, probably corpo & top-tier content creators may invest in it.
Just us common folks take midtier & budget or stick to older gen. ☕☕
Don't buy, the prices will drop. The mark up since the 2000 series hasn't stopped. Consumers must and can control the market. Don't buy!
ОтветитьMight just go and for the first time I guess all amd lol….
ОтветитьI will get a refund on my 4080 - thanks amazon (Paid £1250 GPB) and get a 5080 .. simples....
ОтветитьThing is 4090s have been $2500 for years now. A 5080 at $1400 in this market is sadly a better deal. Just sad
Ответить
