Danny Kaye & Liza Minelli on the Danny Kaye Show 1966

Sadly, the high point of live entertainment was the "50s and '60s. After The Danny Kaye Show, Gleason, What's My Line etc. quality programming hit a long slippery downward slope with no way back. Now look what we have to choose from on tv. You'd have to go to Vegas to see quality talent like this again snd still it wouldn't be as good.

God I miss these shows. Mom would let me stay up an hour late once a week to watch the Danny Kaye Show.

Two of my two favorite people. I had a major crush on Danny Kaye. He's such a talent. And OMG, look at young Liza !! She is so stinking cute and adorable and bursting with her vivacious self💝 I couldn't take my eyes off her, and this is saying something since my girlhood crush on Danny Kaye was pretty major for me.

I love Danny Kaye, he always made me laugh and my mom and I use to watch his movies together at home. There’s no one like him. Liza looks just like her father but is talented just like her mother, Judy Garland, was. I was a little kid when these kind of entertainment shows were on and my grandparents and my parents would watch them, it was all glamorous people, beautiful clothes, singing and dancing and humor all in one hour show. 💖

These actors are great but do you know who is greater? Jesus. He is selfless and loving. He died for everyone's sins, past, present, and future. Be careful when watching these films.
