Huff up Bluff Mountain. Day 27

Monday, July 3, 2023 - Skipper, Texas Pete, and JZ left Laughing Heart Hostel and headed southbound out of Hot Springs. On this warm day with occasional showers, they hiked up to Garenflo Gap then the long 4 mile climb up Bluff Mountain. They ended their almost 13 mile day mid afternoon and camped near Walnut Mtn Shelter.

**Skipper & Texas Pete are back on the AT to finish this summer! Our family Thru hiked in 2022 and made it 1,556 miles together before Texas Pete had to get off trail due to a tibial stress fracture. North Star, NinjaSquirrel, and Fish completed the flip-flop Thru hike in ‘22 and now Skipper & Texas Pete are back to finish their remaining 640 miles in ‘23..**
