A few seconds listening to this jerk was enough. "Slow service" Well sonny Jim, lots of European restaurants, especially in France, are owned by the proprietor and not by some faceless chain.
Europeans like to relax at the table. Eating is a real pleasure and not some scheduled necessity.

I watch a lot of 'Americans lauding Europe' videos so I was looking forward to a bit of balance from an alternate perspective. I'm not happy. You tried hard to disguise your sarcasm but I saw through it.

I hate that my country is among the top happiest countries in the world, year after year. It puts tremendous pressure onto me to be happy as well. The neighbouring countries are also at the top of the list so there's no escape.

I really hate System of International Units that you call the metric systems. It just doesn't make sense that you only have to divide or multiply numbers by 10 or 100 or 1000. It's really awful. Well, I actually do miss the insane variety of the US. Even with online shops it feels so boring and limited here. And I didn't find the food that much better here. At least not what you get these days at your local Edeka with those cheap ass Gut & Günstig products. Yes, some of the regular ingredients from the US would get you in jail here if you mixed them in. But calling this high class food is a bit of a stretch, too. The fun fact is - the garbage food in the states is even more expensive than the healthier stuff here 😅 Do they try to slowly root out their own population over there?

You don't have to die in a hurry to make a living here; you won't die in a shootout either. We have a different pace and things are even more satisfying. We have a saying that goes something like this: ‘Haste is never a good adviser’.

The logic of floor numbering is:

- If it is at ground level, it is the LOWEST = Ground floor, low or 0.

- You always start from zero: if you go up 1 level, you will be on floor 1. If you go up 12 levels, you will be on floor 12, if you don't move from street level... you are at zero.

- In the USA, for example, if there are 2 basements... why do you go from level 1 to level -1? It's basic mathematics! How do they teach you integers there? 🤪
