Table Rock Jungle Lodge is a nature lover's paradise nestled in the jungle just outside of San Ignacio. Staying here will make your trip to Belize unforgettable. We found this to be a great location for getting to all of the inland adventures like seeing the Mayan ruins, river tubing, cave exploring, wildlife spotting, hiking, waterfalls and swimming. Not only is it a great location to get to these notable sites but they also have river access for tubing and swimming along with an abundance of jungle and trails for exploring the wildlife and birds. It’s all right there! You could easily never leave the property and have a four star trip. I have worked in the service industry all my life and can say without a doubt, Table Rock is passionate about people and nature. The staff were incredibly friendly, caring, and personable and the facility is clearly dedicated to caring for the land. This fully functioning farm and eco lodge opens their doors and welcomes you in a way that is so inviting. They aren’t pushy about getting you signed up for tours but so happy to help guide you when you’re ready to plan. We decided to explore Caracol on our own and they packed us a lunch for the day! At night they light up the open air dining area and offer dinner specials that were absolutely incredible. It’s all farm to table here so get ready for delicious food, fresh produce and regional favorites. In the mornings you can visit the donkeys and the kitchen will give you scraps to treat them. If you love birds and wildlife hike the trails, they’re great for bird watching! If it’s hot there’s a number of ways to cool off. Their bar and bartender are top notch and the pool is, dare I say it, the best pool I have ever been in. With an infinity edge looking over the jungle to the Macal river and the butterflies and hummingbirds fluttering around, it’s a truly magical setting. The property has lots covered comfy areas to gather and just enjoy the space even when it rains. Only 10 eco friendly cabanas are on this 175 acre jungle reserve and farm. Each one is intimate and spacious and the bed was very comfy after a long day scaling the temples at Cahal Pech or Xuantunich. You will not have trouble finding peace and tranquility here. If you are looking to have a jungle adventure in Belize, Table Rock is where you should stay.
