I was at Giza, location for the pyramids but it’s also a huge city with millions of inhabitants next to Cairo and I was arrested for filming old cars on the streets. It’s a military dictatorship and under marshal law so hustlers are not your only problem, police and military can be too.
Not a very tourist friendly place if you are a tourist, better to be a traveler! 😊

My sympathies are with the original robbers. I bet a lot were from the workers who sweated in the heat to put all that bling in there in the first place while pharoah sat in his palace being waited on hand and foot.
