Hey dude, you ever looking for content from E Tennessee. I’m in Alcoa about 10 minutes from Rockford. I have the rarest 1960 Ford Thunderbird “Squarebird” made. She was one of the last ones produced in July of 60. Base model no options with a three speed manual shift transmission that my father bought from the original owner in 1974. Maybe not concourse but an 8 out of 10 all day every day. In the most desired color option. Raven Black with red and white interior. It really is time to tell her story.
ОтветитьGood video bro
ОтветитьI’m Tennessee from day 1, but he has a crazy accent to me. What area of Tn?
ОтветитьI Live in Tennessee ive got 2 rare cars, 1992 Infinity M30 convertible, and 2004 Impala SS Indy addition.
ОтветитьThat’s red oxide primer it’s not red Lead
ОтветитьBelmont's were made in Canada , '64 to '70 , using Pontiac, Chevy , Buick, and Oldsmobile bodies, but would combine the different parts of each . MuscleCar Review used to show case different Belmont's . A '67 Belmont Special had the body of a '67 Chevelle with the running gear and interior of the '67 GTO , real nice looking car.
ОтветитьThe X-7's had a leather interior option. Otherwise they were faux leather standard
ОтветитьRed lead paint was used on bridges. I painted bridges back in the mid 80's The red pain was a iron oxide primer from the factory
ОтветитьThat's not an alarm that's for putting up the top in a down pour without having to start the car
ОтветитьHey I've got an cutless Oldsmobile 1998 49thoundsand miles hard to believe but true clean title

I once owned a 1968 Olds Delmont 88. It was a roller.
ОтветитьMy neighbor worked for the B&O and B&LE railroad and he had one of those and it was a pretty nice ride.
ОтветитьDepending on what you want for the Oldsmobile I will buy it but it's rough.
ОтветитьMy Grandma had a 67 98 with a 425 and it was a great running car and it was a Lazy Boy on wheels.
ОтветитьThat Chevrolet Silverado Bonanza is like Dan Blocker, Hoss would take on anyone, anytime, and anywhere regardless of the situation and we all know of the outcome of every engagement. Winner, Winner, everyone gets a chicken dinner!
ОтветитьI remember the Cavalero! I have a GMC High Sierra Jimmy! It's a 1990 basically a 90 K5 Blazer except for the electric everything and the interior.
ОтветитьTennessee, my kinda place! Oh yeah, East Tennesseean born and raised on the Cumberland Plateau and still here!
ОтветитьAs Paul Harvey would say an now you know ! AKA lead sled .
ОтветитьI wonder why they don't build cars like that TR6. It would be so much easier on mechanics. You have plenty of access to everything!
ОтветитьMeth is bad!
ОтветитьI owned a couple spitfires a gt6 and a tr7.
ОтветитьAlso the 302 block was forged in Mexico had more nickel content stronger than regular one
ОтветитьXr7 also was top of the line and were the only model of cougar that a 428 cobra jet could be installed was called xr7 G

ОтветитьSweet Classics in that yard !
ОтветитьI had worked at a small GMC dealership back in the mid eighties and would prep the caballeros for the lot. We would only have about two or three at a time. They were just better than the Chevy el caminos. Some of them came in two tone with trim. Parker's laugh is contagious while he expresses his knowledge about his herd of classic rare rides. Great video.
ОтветитьWhere is the car located and I need a price I live in tn
ОтветитьI used to work on triumphs.trunions used exclusive on them very durable but not all that practical
ОтветитьI had a 1966 delmont all white blue Ensure smooth running car$250 don't remember what I did with it

ОтветитьThat Delmont looks like a Pontiac from the front. Rare car now.
ОтветитьThose square body Chevy trucks always have problems with the hoods buckling. You need to put extra braces on them
Ответитьhood buckled oil the hinges
ОтветитьBonanza was a trim package. I believe it was a special paint/special trim package
ОтветитьI bought a new GMC Caballero Laredo in 1981 with tiny V-8
ОтветитьHe had me when he double pounded the hood and it opened. He's my type of car guy. LOL
ОтветитьI knew a guy who had a 67 Delmont 88 convertible. We even found a hardtop four door model in the same color sitting next to a barn. spare parts baby! Big block. It was a smooth ride!
ОтветитьThe Delmont was a fantastic Oldsmobile! Most had 425 Olds, and they had a 4 speed auto with S mode transmissions! " S stands for " super overdrive" and these cars take off like a jetfighter when you hit that s mode you better have that seat belt on!
I bought a 66 Dynamic with 425 2 bbl, S mode, the guy I bought it from bought it off the showroom floor in 1966! It had 60k on it and had been serviced on schedule all it's life. I payed $350. And drove away with a big grin on my face especially after I destroyed a new corvette on the way home😂😂😂😂💪💪💪👏👏👏👍💯
Salt on icy roads, SMH
I live in LA (Lower Alabama) we don't have rust. My teenage hot rod was a 68 Cutlass S. I loved Oldsmobiles
Love that Cougar🙌
ОтветитьLooking at a few good boat anchors
ОтветитьThese elcaminos could actually be gotten with a 400 small block since it was classified a truck
ОтветитьA friend of ours who lives just down the street from us inherited her grandfathers 1967 Delmont 88 and I got it running for her. Cool car!
ОтветитьThe Delmont 88 was famously driven off a bridge by a sitting U.S. senator.
ОтветитьSo the warm beer might be due to the Germans.
Ответить1953 Ford was the last flathead in Ford. 1954 Ford had overhead valve engine, I believe they were a Y code engine and a 292 c.i..
ОтветитьChip Foose for the Delmont 88 rebuild!
ОтветитьThe disc brake option for the Olds of these years were four-piston Kelsey Hayes, and therefore the 15" wheels that were part of the disc brake package had a unique profile to clear the calipers! My uncle had a former Fire Chief '67 Olds Delmont 88 that had those rare disc brakes!
My folks had a pair of '68 Olds Delta Custom, both were Holiday Coupes - what they called the two-door fastbacks. The Olds 88 heirarchy was Delmont 88, Delta 88, and the top of the line was the Delta Custom, much like the Chevy Biscayne, BelAire and Impala.. All were available as two-door fastbacks, or 4-dr sedans and 2-dr convertibles
Anyway, Mom's had the 455 high-compression 4-barrel, and dad's was the 455 low-compression 2-barrel. Mom's was more plain, but it had the automatic AC where you set the temperature, power windows and the AM/FM 'Wonderbar' seeking radio. Dad's had every option there was -- vacuum operated power locks, vacuum operated trunk release, cruise control (speed was set with a dial on the dash!), power windows, Manually controlled AC, full vinyl top, rear defogger blower in the rear package tray, power antenna.... His vinyl top was they called the 'halo roof' since the vinyl top did not go to the edges of the windows - it had a 1-1/2" wide bodycolor band, separated by chrome trim.
.
What’s he asking for the Delmont?
