Just did it tysm ❤
ОтветитьYou did a great job!❤ I have learned how to take up my hubby dress pants!! Thank you so very muc!! ❤
ОтветитьJust finished watching it and i already feel unstoppable i might haul the entire thrift shop's jeans lol
ОтветитьThank you! Thank God in JESUS CHRIST Name For His Goodness. AMEN 🙏🙏🙏
ОтветитьThanks for the wonderful instructions, I now altered 2 pairs of jeans since my hips are fuller than my waist. I found it helpful to tack the new seam before sewing properly so I could remake it if there were any strange bulges. The low hump jumper is a great tool and I created one out of thick, dense cardboard which worked well. Only problem is that the pockets almost touch now and if I took any more material out they would overlap ! Do you have an alternative solution for that problem ?
ОтветитьNice ass!
ОтветитьNice, I've been losing weight and want to salvage my old jeans. Thanks so much for this demo.
ОтветитьThank you! Respect the shirt! 🤘
ОтветитьDo the original stitches stay once you have removed some for the repair??
ОтветитьGreat! Now I just need to get a sowing machine and learn how to use it! 😂
Ответитьthat was great! I've always had to take jeans in at the waste and I'm old enough to remember having to buy "boy jeans" because there was no such thing as jeans for women back when I was a teenager..............so how I did it was to take off the pockets (not all the way off), remove the wasteband like it was done in the video, take in two darts on either side of the back seam, put the pockets back on and redo the wasteband in the middle............I hid the seam with the belt loop.......what a lot of work compared to how you did it! Thank you so much for showing me a much easier method! 😁
ОтветитьAfter you cut off the excess and zigzag the raw edges I got lost. It jumps from you zigzagging to you using the humper and I have no idea what is going on other than you are edge stitching and top stitching. Where are you sewing these last two things and how far apart are they from each other?
ОтветитьThank you for always making helpful content!
ОтветитьThis is the best video I've found! Not only was it easy to follow but I found you so encouraging! Thank you so much :)
ОтветитьI knew I had previously watched. But received some jeans in mail today and waist is too big. This will help me. Rise is a little off but I'm going to leave that alone. Thank you again for usefuland wonderful videos.
ОтветитьJust ordered my sewing machine. I've went down 3" in the waist from dancing and my jeans are crumpling up with a belt. Wish me luck!
ОтветитьI need to downsize a pair of baggy overalls from XL to M. There is no bib or pockets. Also has elastic waste. Any suggestions? Thank you
ОтветитьI would feel very uncomfortable opening that part of my pants and trying to stitch it back without it coming open on me. Nevertheless, I’m saving the video in case I feel brave.
Ответитьthis is not easy wtf
ОтветитьTHANK YOU!!!!!
ОтветитьThanks! I've lost 20 pounds and that means a couple sizes to big on my jeans. Question! Is it true that you can take in clothes two sizes only?
ОтветитьThank- you, thank- you,Thank-you for this tutorial!
It is wonderful!!
Heart-shaped cushions on the stools in your studio! Very cute and very girly.
ОтветитьYou're such a good teacher!
ОтветитьA hump jumper! Now I know what that little thing is!! Thank you 😊
ОтветитьI'm a fairly experienced sewer, but haven't dared take in jeans before, you've given me the confidence to do it. Thanks SO much!
ОтветитьGreat tutorial :)
ОтветитьDoes this technique work for older Bernina models?
ОтветитьI was meant to watch your video , not just to have you show how to make jeans tighter in the waist but I’m digging this bump jumper !! I consider myself pretty talented and have many projects going all the time , and I just had my industrial sewing machine gone through. And I’m ready to start making fun stuff . Thanks
Ответитьis it okay to do the waist alterations on the side of the jeans?
ОтветитьThanks dear, so helpful ❤
ОтветитьNow I have a job to do. You made this look easy
ОтветитьAnastasia you did that gurl!! Amazing job!!❤❤
ОтветитьGlad I bump in to your video You make it really easy now i have some ajustment to do Thanks😁
ОтветитьWhat happened to trousers ?
ОтветитьDid this with american eagle jeans for the first time and it worked great! Took in almost 3 inches and you cant even tell, thank you so much for sharing this tutorial!!
ОтветитьCan you add a flat felt seam back in if you wanted to?
Ответить❤🎉
ОтветитьOk, that takes care of the waist, but how do you reduce the size of the legs? I’ve lost almost 30 pounds and all my jeans are way too big and are fairly new or never been worn and I don’t want to get rid of them. Would appreciate a tutorial on the taking in the way too large thighs and calves. Thank you.
ОтветитьHello! I have some dress pants that are too big in the waist, and they have side pockets. You have a video showing how to alter men's pants. Can you refer me to one for women? Thank you.
ОтветитьThis is seriously genius.
ОтветитьNot me watching knowing full well I'm never going this 😆
ОтветитьWhat kind of sewing machine is that?
ОтветитьThis was real easy and very straightforward. Since I don’t have a machine, I’ll just have to continue with hand sewing
ОтветитьHi Anastasia: Your videos are super! Do you have a video on taking in a pair of jeans at the hips? I have a pair of wide leg jeans that i just bought (and washed thinking they'd relax and shrink but no they relaxed but didn't shrink) and the hips are too, well, poofy, and i want them to be snug. The waist could use taking in, but assuming i gain some weight at Thanksgiving or Christmas, i'm happy with the waist as it is. I can't find a single video on just slimming the hips on jeans. There are videos for tailoring men's dress pants at the hips and videos for taking pants in at the waist or making darts on the butt. However, i want to take my jeans at the hips only! If you have such a lesson, I'd be so grateful! Your joyful approach is so refreshing!
ОтветитьBrilliant trick for taking in the waist under the tag!!! Thank you for this tutorial now I don’t have to turn away these kinds of business!
ОтветитьThat's really really helpful, thanks a lot!
ОтветитьI just successfully tailored 3 pair of pants thanks to your tutorial. Thank you.
ОтветитьWould this be any different with a denim skirt?
ОтветитьSo greatful for this video, my favourite pair of jeans was 2 sizes too big and today i thought hmm i wonder if i could take them in and I actually did!! Honestly my skills are extremely basic and this video was sooo amazing!
