GCH Aviation, winners of the Qualmark 100% Pure New Zealand Experience award 2021

Qualmark is New Zealand Tourism’s official quality assurance organisation, providing travellers with a trusted guide to quality travel experiences in New Zealand.

All tourism operators who achieve Qualmark Gold are invited to enter the Qualmark 100% Pure New Zealand Experience Awards.

For 2021, 47 Qualmark partners were announced as finalists in the 100% Pure New Zealand Experience Awards and 12 award winners announced.

The entries for the awards must be of an exceptionally high standard, complementing the achievements they have already exhibited to be Qualmark Gold awarded partners.

Judged by Tourism New Zealand, Air New Zealand, and the Department of Conservation (DOC), the annual awards are designed to recognise sustainable tourism businesses which offer experiences that can’t be had outside Aotearoa New Zealand.

GCH Aviation Group Marketing Manager Caroline Blanchfield said GCH Aviation were thrilled and honoured to be announced as a winner in these prestigious awards for 2021.

We were placed as finalists in the 2019 awards and this year we were able to tell the wider story of GCH Aviation’s sustainable business practises across the entire group of 6 helicopter bases and our support of our Pacific Island Air family in Fiji. We took the opportunity to talk about providing exceptional guest experience through the vertical integration of our Charter jet combined with our luxury helicopter fleet.

As a company, entering these awards are a great exercise in focusing on our strengths and what represents best practise in our aviation company and our continued community engagement.
