This book is very much relevant in our days in Africa as we witness and see dictators having a field day with their Governments and people they tend to govern

Orwell had it figured out in ‘54, meanwhile we the farm animals have been getting slaughtered for profits; let it be war, epidemics, or overdoses. They trade us for whiskey and cigars everyday of the week.

A cautionary tale indeed. This book should be taught in school, its a cautionary tale as to what's happening right now. 1984 or animal farm, Orwell could see the future, it was considered bleak and unimagional when he wrote it. Why are we accepting living through it now?
