My kittens saved Piko's life

Piko has much courage to try and move around now, that he is at home, after all that he went through. I can only imagine how stressful it may have been for you both at home, waiting for news. Big hugs and prayers for Piko, Maple and Luna. I have had cats as companions for 60 years and there is so much love, and also times that have been very hard to bear. So glad he wants to eat! Praying for Piko’s healing 🩹💝🙏🇦🇺

Well it still only takes him a minute to house a big bowl of cat food, so that’s pretty good.

It's good to see Piko home 😁. The waiting now starts to see how the operation succeeded. I have one question: seeing as they weren't able to completely work on the three constriction points, is there the possibility of going back in several months to complete the work? We all pray he's happier n more mobile when he's fully healed. Heartbreaking to hear they didn't fully complete the operations planned.
On the upside, Piko is strong, he shows good alertness when you picked him up to go home.

Also, do you think his grumpy old man expression has gone? No more big angry boss face, haha.

Seriously though, he looks relieved in his face. Hopefully a massive positive sign of him recovering more than before the operation if you know what I mean.❤❤❤❤❤.

If Maple and Luna hadn't done what they did, Piko wouldn't be alive to tell his tale.

Maybe feed Piko cooked calf liver. Liver has iron in it to make his blood stronger. I hate eating liver as my Mom used to make it when I was a kid and I would pass on it. Supplements can help too. So happy Piko survived and so sorry that they could not finish his surgery. I know you are happy he lived and will just see what happens. You have given him a wonderful life and you should always remember that. Sending Piko healing and love. Now the kitties are blood brothers and sisters.

While it's sad to hear the operation went wrong, it's glad news that Piko still made it home okay. His appetite seems like quite a good sign!

Piko has been handicapped for a while now, don't think he knows any better, doesn't seem to effect his quality of life much. He can still live a happy rest of his life, he plays, enjoys his garden and his well loved.. let's be positive and give him time and see how he does.

Oh bless him what a brave boy Piko is. I’m so sorry the operation didn’t go as planned but at least they were able to do some treatment on him and the most important thing is that he got through it with the help of his lovely sisters. It was hard for me not to cry, can't imagine how hard it had to be for you guys. I asked God in prayer to help Piko get well, he seems very brave and strong.
