Looked like a juvenile WA Salmon (AKA Salmon Trout), look almost identical to Herring, main difference is the eyes of the Salmon will have more yellow, min size is 21cm so yours would have been right on it, woulda made a nice snack.

Hi Guys, The little fish with the spikes is locally called a skippy. They can grow quite large and are reasonably good eating.

Another great video , lovely part of WA (if the weather is right) . Just a thought Bryce , I always drive onto my ramps forward , that way if the van rolls it goes back away from the Vehicle… something to think about . Keep up your great work .

Hopetoun is amazing, the water and dump facility is tops. We stayed out at Mason Bay and visited starvation bay.
Also next time at the bakery try the Beef, caramelised onion & camembert pie. My wife likes the chicken & truffle. But as you found out, there's too many choices. Great to see you 3 back in the Great Southern. 👌👌

When you first got juice, I was pretty negative with the idea. I stand corrected. You two have done a wonderful job in raising her.

As a Canadian camper.... Inspiration for cooking with a wood fire? Cast iron skillet with a lid, of course. The heat is far more evenly distributed than a thin piece of aluminum.

That bakery in Mount Barker has Australia's best vanilla slices.
