How do you dispose of the old oil? Can you take it somewhere?

Amazing video, wish I would’ve seen this one a while ago. You go into full detail, which is very much appreciated. As a new rider of a 3rd owner 1999 Harley Davidson Heritage Classic it looks like a lot of things are in the same location. Not only do I want to become a good rider, but would also like to do my own maintenance. Thanks LE MC from a prior LEO of 10 years. Be safe out there👍

Great video, however, I don’t think the few dollars you save on gaskets and O rings are that much of a big deal, cheap maintenance for piece of mind in my opinion.

Great channel watched a lot and learned a lot thank you 👊🏻. I changed my primary fluid and put to much oil in it approx 46 oz. Ride it about 10 miles and realized what I had done. I drained it and put the correct amount 38 oz. Will this cause me any problems? It’s a 2014 ultra.

Fan from the Right Coast to you'se guys on the Left Coast! Former L.E.O. with a few Harleys. Enjoy your vids. Can you get into TriGlide work for those special few of us that are on 3 rather than 2. I know many of the vids that you put out are for all the touring models, but some things don't really apply. THANK YOU for doing what you do (here and for work!) and keep up the good work.

Did you mean 84 foot pounds? That’s quite a torque…you mentioned how delicate they are. Is it inch/foot or foot/pounds?…thanks

I just about choked when you said 84-108 foot-lbs instead of inch-lbs for the derby cover, that really would strip it out

I use foil pans for drain pans and just throw them away if they get worn out . The ones you use to cook a turkey in. Buy a cheap stack at Sam`s club or Cost co. You can crease the corner to poor it back in the container to take it to a disposle place .

U forgot to re-oil your K@N filter just FYI. Always gotta do that or it will dry out and let debris in the motor.

Due to the heating and cooling of the filter causing expansion and contracting of the metal filter cause them to stick frequently

For the oil filter drain funnel, just use a plastic gallon milk jug. Use a utility knife to shape it for your needs. I have one made custom, for my mower, each of the different dirt bikes and one for my road glide. Just label what it fits and stack them up. Works for custom fill funnels too
