Think of it like this, if everyone knows a robber will come to the front door there is no surprise. Everyone basically knows about the mark. The devil knows this. Everyone believes the church will be rapture out. We know the devil is a liar and a deceiver. What if the rapture happened after the tribulation. Think of how many Christians would take the mark. The preachers who preached the prosperity gospel and rapture were wrong. So many people want comfort and would readily take it.

1. Paul told us in 2nd Thessalonians 2:1-5 that the church will see the antichrist enter the Jewish Temple and then a falling away of the saints will occur, due to persecution, before Jesus returns.
2. Jesus told us in Matthew 24:29-31 that He will return for His saints after the tribulation of those days at a great sound of a trumpet.
3. In Revelation 12 verses 14 to 16 we find some Christians who are saved and nourished and protected from the devil during the great tribulation and they will survive and be alive when Jesus returns with His angels at the end of the tribulation
4. In Luke 17:30-33 Jesus tells us when the Son of Man is revealed and He gives us instructions not to go back into our homes for supplies, as we need to obey His instructions immediately.
5. 1 Thessalonians 4:14-17 is not a secret rapture, but is the 2nd coming of Jesus that will occur at the 7th trumpet (Revelation 11:15) also called last trumpet (1 Corinthians 15:51-52). "For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first; Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up (We are caught up by His angels) together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.
6. The pre-tribulation theory was created by the devil to cause Christians not to be prepared as most who believe in it do not study eschatology properly and will be shocked when Jesus does not take them immediately out of all the difficulties when the antichrist arrives and persecution starts.
7. Jesus Himself tells us about the difficulties that Christians will have to endure in Matthew chapter 24, Mark chapter 13 and Luke Chapters 17 and 21.
