It looks beautiful and you did an excellent job restoring it as well!!!!
I enjoyed your video so I gave it a Thumbs Up
I love it!!! Great restoration!
Amazing! Great workmanship.
Beautiful job 👏 ❤
Very nice. Need to age the screen wire somehow.
In the Netherlands these cabinets were used to storage cheese and butter. They were mounted on the balcony near the kitchen to keep the goods cool and flyfree. This was before everyone had a refrigerator, of course
Beautiful!!
Really like this restoration
Ответитьmuito bela
You are a genius! I love your videos! Very instructive
This was called a pie safe in the old deep south. It was usually kept on the back porch to cool down hot foods, keep the heat out of the kitchen and flies out of the food too.
Bravo😊
Awesome piece, awesome restoration! ❤
This is a "pie/kitchen safe". It was used to store pies and ready to eat foods. The screens were to keep out flies.
This was one of the most beautiful restoration videos I have seen. I can’t believe the end product, your attention to detail and craftsmanship is awesome.
Ответить👏👏👏👏👏👏👏😘😘😘😘from Chile!!!
You are especially kind to recognize and respect a beautiful thing gone astray and bring it back to its glory.
What a cool restoration! Great work. ❤
This is a pie safe. Quite common in the early 1900s used to cool pies after baking.
Beautiful job
What a pleasure to watch! New subscriber in Michigan ❣️🇺🇸
Armario de arame! Nunca vi..
Ficou muito lindo!
Love it
It's an old pie safe. To protect the fresh baked pies as they cool from flies and other critters
You are very very good!
Ответитьunbelievable.
From California: love the cabinet. Job well done 👌
The original probably had the metal straps holding the screen on for a reason…rodents.
My admiration ,resurrecting an old thing is great , congratulations and I'm following you ! you are a master ! 👍💪🏆🏅
I love how you gently Restored it so that it's original Character, Quirks still comes through ❤😊
Wow! This was amazing. I didn't think it could be saved.
I admit I was skeptical of this restoration, but it is a charming re-do. A great piece of history, too.
Trabalho ficou lindo!❤
This piece looked like a real challenge n you did it beautifully.
I have to agree with the person in Australia saying this was a food safe. Here in America they made much larger cabinet size that they called pie safes. I’m sure you’re aware of that.
I’ve never seen something like this piece n I wish I had one. I love my antiques. It looks just like the day it was born. Fine craftsmanship. It’s a beauty! ♥️♥️🥰👍👍👍👍🌟
Nice job 👍🏻! Did you keep it or sell it!
I'm stunned, you did an incredible job on this garde-manger! ❤❤😮
Ответитьi actually liked the green patina
Thanks. This looks great. We used to have one growing up for meat safe.
