Why @Google Tasks gets so much hate

Todoist. Using couple years. Looked once I have 3000+ compeleted tasks. My #1 app I us. Still free plan.

I love How Todoist is able to automatically pick up due dates when I just write stuff down.

Problem with Google tasks for me is I have multiple Google accounts for work personal side stuff etc and can only use it with one account. Also not desktop app with easy shortcuts.

I installed Google calendar and Google task, the task and reminder that I set was interrupted with the Google task app. That's why I uninstalled it. Google calendar is enough....

I use Todoist. Integrates fine into Google suite

You can add a checklist in your Google doc and it when you hover over it on the left side it gives the option to add to Tasks

What is the use of all this integration and quick capturing of tasks from all these different areas if you cannot process them and take action on them?

Can i use workspace for free?

I use Google Tasks integrated into everything, I have about 3-4 Tasks lists I use. It's also convenient when speaking to my Google speaker to add a task by voice whenever something pops in my head and my phone or computer is not around

Google Workspace is great. But it is Google. After 15 years I'm degoogling.

I was using Remember the Milk but recently changed over to Google Tasks

I use Google task for professional work or something that I want on calender and for random things that I want to quickly add I use todoist

How do you add tasks from the message? I did not find that option in the iMessage

Please someone create the video on how to print Google tasks ie the board. The individual task list printing is horrible in that there's so much line spacing that one list could be eight pages. And there's no way to copy and paste that task list into like word to clean it up. But I understand there are ways to maybe import it into sheets but it looked a little complicated with a lot of code. So if anybody has the app or the knowledge on how to do it please post the video. I use Google task between my family members i.e sister when we have to coordinate things regarding the family. It's easy it's simple and does the trick. It's too difficult to train other family members about different corporate systems because they😊 won't use it. So sometimes the simplicity is all you need in order to keep family organized.

Tried google tasks but didn't like it, may be because I'm not using google services much for productivity.

I'm a fan of Google Tasks myself – it's just so handy being able to see your to-dos pop up in your calendar, saves a right faff of making separate entries. The only thing that gets my goat, though, is the lack of a proper Mac app with your different Google Accounts. The web version is alright, I suppose, but it's just not the same, is it?

I've been using TickTick for years. I have it on my macOS menu bar so I can easily add a task regardless of which app I'm in.
