NBC 25 TODAY: Flint Residents say Thread Lake Best Kept Secret

Just ran across this and could not help myself. I grew up in Grand Blanc and as a kid myself, John Evans, and Phil Fisk took a raft trip from the bridge at Thread Creek off of Belsay all the way to Thread Lake by the Flint Golf Club. It took us 2 days as we stopped at Fisks residence off Bristol Road to spend the night. My old address and where I grew up was 6136 S Belsay Rd. My dad ran McDonald Dairy and was extremely active in the Flint area. David Wagner
