What if the only options I have for ICMP are to Accept/Reject from Local, Remote or Both Ways? I don't see an option to drop the connection instead of accept/reject. (Sagemcom router/Spectrum)

If you want to fix the problem just use 2 IPs one for your main were you do important and safe stuff the other one for alt computer for whatever shit you get your self into with Bridge port LAN 4 most Modem have this feature you enable it and connect your computer to port 4 that is the second IP if you get ddos attack just disconnect your Modem wait 1min and reconnect then go to your admin panel and disactivate bridge mode lan 4 and your good if they continue attacking your second IP it will do nothing at all this has been tested by me experienced ddos and this solved the issue now If want to change my IP for both all i have to do is go sleep and leave the Modem off by morning the IP changes. This is not the same for everyone the ISP is different.

Pretty sure UDP and SYN are far more common. If someone is going to spend the money to ddos you, you likely have irritated a few people and should consider situating a content distribution network infront of your resources.

So I have a DynaLink Wi-Fi router. I don't know if the security is good. And I do connec t it with Verizon which I don't know is a bad thing with my security. Even though both my PC and phone have Norton subscription with VPN But I don't mind changing the router just for the sake of the DDO's attack. My room is 30 fts away. Do you have any recommendations of any better router if the Dyna Link security is horrible? As well as Verizon?
