Trump thinks it will work out on the long run, but if memory comes to view back in office the first time he initiated a 10% tariff now he wants a 25% tariff so do you think prices will come down? His plans will crash the American economy. He always does things which are destructive. The combination of tariffs and deportations will gut many sectors of the economy which rely on immigrant workers. Who picks our fruit? Who roofs our buildings? Who cares for our elders? With tariffs, prices will skyrocket, especially on goods and services which are affected by tariffs. The impact of tariffs on soybeans we had in Trump's first term didn't hurt China; it hurt American farmers whom we then subsidized. China started buying their soybeans from Argentina. When you are no longer a reliable trading partner and weaponize tariffs, you lose overseas customers. Tariffs on Canadian and Mexican goods violates our free trade treaty with them. Treaties are the law of the land. Trump is so ignorant about economics and goes the opposite direction of what is needed. He will turn us into a third world country politically, economically, and socially, just as climate change is reducing crop yields across the world.

The answer is the people stripped of their citizenship will sit in squalor in a concentration camp for 4 years until the MAGAts are booted out (if that's even possible then). A more relevant question is how exactly are they physically going to deport them? On what plane? Domestic carriers by international law cannot allow anyone without appropriate documentation on their planes let alone allow them to disembark in a country that refuses to accept them. Will there be massive queues on the tarmac of planes, loaded with deportees just sitting on the tarmac at JFK or LAX? The receiving countries are not obliged to permit those airlines landing rights. Maybe putting them on a transport ship and leaving them to sit in the water off a foreign port?

If this is a real possibility, then these people should already reapply for the citizenship they gave up. In order to avoid being in a legal limbo. This must suck ass.

Or is that the point? Does he want to send Melania back to Slovenia? She is a naturalized citizen. Will she be deported? Or his buddy, Elon Musk? Are any congressional persons naturalized? Does he plan on sending them back to the counties they came from? How about state government persons? I don't think he or they thought this through very well.
