Trump won because Clinton was the worse of the two evils....especially when she and the DNC cheated Bernie in the 2016 primaries. Clinton was very unpopular.....Bernie would have beaten Trump easily!

Where Frank says: ..."Guess what happened..!" will happen again with the IDES of 2024...!
AIn't it Great..??!! Again..!!!
Presently, with the wonderful track record of the wrong party, its inevitable death spiral to end its sad misery, will finally become a reality with the IDES of 2022 and of 2024, after which, the wrong party will have become a boring get together, rather than a party at all. We all have a front row seat for the show.

May God Bless Everybody of Good Will and of Best Intentions...!
We practice our right to free expression, though it may hurt some folk with imagination...
Should it bother you, please ignore it. If by any chance, it makes you wiser, please proceed accordingly..!
Righteous behaviour, is rare... But ultimately pleasant and we all know, inexpensive... and safeer... and way, way, way, more patriotic.

Because the haves concentrated series of propaganda outlets reinforcing the lies told by an increasingly anti-democratic, fascist Republican Party.

I’ve listened to several of Mr. Frank’s presentations and it had revealed to me at least, a curious omission, large omission of the factors contributing to Donald Trumps victory;
The social issues.
The morality issues.
The ramming through, by the Obama White House hubris, of same sex marriage, expanded abortion privileges, the pervasive undermining of the parent family child value structure.
Why Mr. Frank repeatedly skips by this dimension of Trump’s victory is telling of a symptom of a certain myopic mindset.
… and they still don’t get it! 😣

Yes, by standards of the 20th century, our liberals are fake liberals (and our conservatives are fake conservatives but that's a different story). What passes for mainstream politics in America today is basically a dispute between two factions of rich people that carefully avoids discussion of the greatest change of the past several decades, the rapid and extensive concentration of wealth and corporate privilege into the hands of a tiny percentage of the population.

You explained this issue so well. Every talking head and political "influencer" should be forced to listen to this video and respond to its points. What's so frustrating these days is that neocons pretend--with the help of the degenerates and morally bankrupt co-opters who seem to actually believe they're liberals--that Leftism has anything to do with the degeneracy, perversion, militant racialization of everything, and amorality that have taken over the Democratic party. Or with going so soft on crime that our judicial system has literally been hamstrung by insane ivory tower policies. Actual Leftism has nothing to do with any of these bizarre social projects that have hijacked what used to be the working American's party. Leftism has always been about class equality, the right to earn a living wage, economic equity, fair labor laws, supporting the working class, and building up a strong middle class. It has nothing to do with degeneracy, perversion, or obsessive division, deconstruction, racialization, etc. It's hard to have a productive conversation when everyone pontificating about "those crazy liberals" and "those mean conservatives" no longer remembers what liberal OR conservative actually mean. Neither word has anything to do with racism, perversion, amorality, or coddling criminals.

Leftism has to de-couple itself from this degenerate movement of weirdos that's become a straw man for the neocons to attack. It's patently absurd to claim that raising the minimum wage and forgiving student loans are bad ideas because it's racist to teach kids that "whiteness" is a problem, or because it's dangerous to have public officials who won't admit the definition of "woman." Yet that's exactly what neocon talking heads argue. They demolish degenerate arguments, and then pretend they've also discredited actual Leftist principles in the process. These arguments are literally non sequiturs. If working Americans are ever to regain our footing politically in this country, this fallacious reasoning and unholy marriage of Leftism with degeneracy HAS TO die. It was a match made in hell from the start, and it's only dragged our country down from the Reagan years on. ENOUGH.

The parade of sickness misnaming itself "liberalism" has become little more than a militarized march of freaks at this point. It alienates everyone who still has any sense of morality, normality, or even sanity. Those people care nothing about the real struggles of the working classes in a country where it's becoming prohibitively expensive just to survive--they're too obsessed with their sexual problems and their skin color and which bathroom they can invade and what other people are allowed to say about them. So why should we keep providing political "cover" and false legitimacy to their sickness? Their issues aren't even primarily political, they're personal. (I'd say, psychological.) Cut them loose and let them go their own way. They can sort it out with their psychiatrists. Actual Leftists need to regroup and reclaim our own best interests--and our political power. Even if that means splitting up the Democratic party to return to its roots. Jettison the freaks. Center the majority, the workers, the families, and economic well-being--which are things 99% of Americans can relate to, anyway. The top 1% does not have the right to drain us and exploit us the way they have for 40 years, and it's about time we collectively stop allowing them to. We don't have to sell our souls to the devil in order to fight to free our country from corrupt hands and regain the American dream.

Totally. Exactly. I've been saying that with my own analysis and this validates my theory. Basically, the New Democrats wanted to be a both sides opportunity player. Because they wanted money 💰 from ALL donors which is not gonna happen with labor as a client. So then what happened? The Clintons and Obama drove working class folks into a ditch, so they could go drive for Wall Street, CEO's, and the banks. And up the escalator they went to these suits with the head of American labor on a silver platter. So Hillary could then charge Goldman Sacks with 250.000$ a chat, for example. Or Obama bailing out the banks while regular people were losing homes and purchasing power. And that meant the betrayal of FDR's Democratic Party for rebranding something new, the New Democrats. Bastards.

Missing context: GOP demonizing of education started the schism. Teaching evolution and big bang? Bad! K-12 and college is turning your kids into atheists. Vote GOP to stop it. Going to college and learning about other cultures is making them less conservative. Stop it. GOP invented and stole the anti-education vote. Liberals thought this was dumb and championed education. There lied the schism but it shouldn’t have been allowed to continue. Democrats with Clinton went too far right with republicans to screw the actual working class. You talk about how professions switched from Republican to democrats and it’s because professionals don’t want to see themselves as uneducated fools so they run away from the GOP as to not. Educated Democrats enjoy the smugness of believing in science and understanding progressive ideas of equality.

Franklin Roosevelt ruled because he was a traitor to his class. It remains to be seen if Trump can do as much on economic issues.

Immigration is an economic issue that has torpedoed working class wages AND cultural values. Employers take for granted their "right" to lay off workers when they aren't needed, but expect government to supply them with all the cheap wage workers they desire. A real campaign to deport illegals would create significant labor shortages and bid up working class wages. Will Trump do that?

Trump has talked about some working class palliatives, such as eliminating income taxes on tips. More needs t be done. Boosting the minimum wage to, say, $12/hour would be a good step. Bargain with Derms to pair that with strong limitations on immigration and Trump would have a good thing going.

The success of Donald Trump is not as much a failure of the Democratic Party as it is a failure of the judgment and character of the American electorate. Anyone who says different has not been paying attention. Until we make the clear and obvious decision to adopt rank choice voting, I vote for the party that will hurt the middle-class and the poor less and hurt the uber-wealthy more. If one possesses a working ethical compass and a scintilla of deductive reasoning unclouded by right-wingnut ideology, one would automatically vote Democrat, even with all of their flaws. The Democrats are not the party that violently tried to stop the peaceful transfer of power. That was an unforgivable transgression, and yet, the Republicans were forgiven for it. Appalling. Well done, benighted citizens of Amerika. Well done.

Keeping prices, especially energy prices low is important to workers. They HAVE to drive to work. It might go over your head but Trump was great for working class folks. Their real wages went up. during his term. I don't blame you for not noticing. Elitist democrats don't seem to care about the middle class.
