My trip to Kyoto, Japan in Autumn - Part 9 | Going Home: Shinkansen, Mt Fuji, Shinjuku, Haneda

In November 2023, I embarked on a long-awaited solo trip to visit Japan during autumn.

In this video, I travel from Kyoto to Tokyo via Shinkansen and see the autumn mountains for one last time.
Farewell the iconic Mt Fuji from the Shinkansen.
Take one last walk around Shinjuku and enjoy a final meal at Ootoya.
Watch the diligent ANA flight crew prepare the plane before boarding.
And lastly arrive back home in Sydney, Australia where I share my final personal thoughts on the trip.

I wanted to create this start to end recollection of my trip for others out there like myself, who have always longed to visit Japan.

Not everyone has the luxury to travel and whilst it’s not the same as travelling in person, hopefully it conveyed the sights and feelings that I experienced. As well as, for others planning a similar trip, helped to provide ideas on places that you might like to visit.
