Samsung Galaxy A56 vs Galaxy A55: Which one to get?

The battery performance is insane on the a55 there is no-way i would "upgrade" samsung cooked hard here, and they really didnt know what to do with the a56.

Idk you guys but samsung's new models are not my taste.

Battery life went down with the A56 with no explanation.

The camera on my A54 is much better than the one on my wife's A56. If the camera is important to you, don't buy the A56.

I have an A55. I've had it for a few months and I'm still salty I couldn't get it in navy. I have it in the pale blue colour. I've slapped a case on it, but still.

Get oneplus ace 5 instead or realme gt7

Used to have s21 fe which was a great phone. Super snappy and responsive, fast finger print scanner but battery started degrading. A55 feels so much better in terms of build quality. The 5000mah battery that lasts was a huge uograde for me. The fingerprint scanner can be slow sometimes and the phone can lag up sometimes but other than that it's a great upper mid danger with flagship premium qualities

i'm looking for a phone with microsd card, so it's not a difficult decision

Not much of difference except for the expandable storage feature and price. A55 seems a better choice over A56.

Newer UI, brighter and larger display might be a factor in terms of battery.

Removing the sd card slot feature probably to promote cloud storage.

One should neither buy A56 nor A55. I have A55. At Rs 45000, camera of this phone is terrible. I avoid using camera for most basic requirements. Charging the phone is painful. Takes more than 80 minutes. Battery backup is average. Only good thing about the phone is One UI. Nothing else.

Micro sd slot is my deciding factor, because internal storage always gets full no matter how large the storage is. My first phone 10 years ago only had 32 and it filled up in less than a year, my second phone had 64 then my third has 128gb it all filled up within a year.

I prefer the A55 design and color choices. Whith consistent updates, it's getting better and better.

Am I the only one angry with Samsung and the fact that they are taking care more of the A-series more than the S-Series update? Like at least A55 and A56 have had some changes, S24 and 25 are basically the same except for the chipset.

My A55 has android 15.. I wish Samsung would make a A phone that was better in every way. They are so close not worth the extra money

I got my a55 when it was launched here last year, around P25k. A56 was cheaper when it was launched ranging around 21k. I updated my cp to android 15/7ui, it feels like my battery drains faster now to think i activated the battery saver now. So i guess it's the android 15 doing it.
