What a jarring person

I’ve watched Millionaire in several different countries, and it seems to be a uniquely British thing to refuse to use your lifelines and just freeguess! I’ve never seen it happen in other versions of the programme. What’s wrong with these people?? We’re talking tens if not hundreds of thousands of pounds here 😮

She looked genuinely scared and nervous at first. But tried to stay calm.

She thought the core (the center) was the horizon. She didn't think about the words meant, and instead focused on some memory of hearing the two words event horizon.

She looks like the sort of woman who hates men. She might be, but she seems sweet, polite and not bitter. Hopefully an example of the exception proves the rule.
