The Dan Campbell Conversation Is RIDICULOUS (Lions Vs Packers)

The only people that say that don't know there's always a game within the game... if the lions had their D-line Campbell would've taken the 3 ...their entire D-line is in the hospital plus the LB Core not named Jack Campbell... some people don't know jack......

Trust in the players is a huge part of being a GOOD Coach. They get paid to do their job... Not to fail.

I love the decision to go for it. I hate it when it doesn't work out but, the benefit of going for it usually outweighs the few times when it doesn't work out. No pain (or possible pain) no gain.

When our team runs plays in practice, offense and defense practices against each other. Dan knows how good both our offense and defense are. We are sharpened steel. We practice like we play. We are ready for the moment. We didn't execute in our own territory in our blocking. It wasn't the play call, it wasn't where the yard marker was and this offense was capable of scoring a TD, which we did. All his calls come into context. Maybe in Frisco, but that was yesterday and we got Tim Patrick not Josh Reynolds. This team is hardened steel now.

People don't understand Dan, he is part of the faith in this team. We need him to be just as he is. It's working, by the way.

As a Lions fan I think I can speak for many... we ride with Dan and our players who want to go for it.

Last game if we kicked field goals instead of going for the TD on 4th down (which we got both we tried), we would have been 8 points behind where we were at the end of the game, meaning that last drive we would have to score a TD instead of field goal AND convert the 2 point conversion JUST to tie it.

I truly think people are just mad that the Lions are actually really good at 4th down conversations and it pisses them off so they complain by saying Dan is too risky. People really can’t handle the Lions being good. Even opposing players complain that they go for it too much.

I think the one on the Lion’s 31 Campbell was giving his team a chance to get a a 1st down and taking pressure off the defense. So the PAC did get a touchdown but when you don’t get it you learn something new about why. So the next time you go for it you make the right changes and get it. So practice makes perfect sense. Then you see Christian Watson put Kirby on his A$$. The pac was screaming the refs were wrong. Chicago Kmet did the same thing to us and the refs called it.

To the betas who are against the 4th and inches. Get your checkers off the chess board. Campbell knew that GB were going to be standing there reminding each other not to jump offsides as Montgomery and Sewell were moving the football at LEAST a few inches...
