I used this template as the basis for my Steam Deck layout. It works really well, I've now got the fine control required to fight off zeds reliably. Thank you.
Had to change a few things up (left trackpad is solely for movement to avoid unintentional crouching and weapon radials).

is it good to play project zomboid with controller? is a smooth experience? im still new but only tried with keyboard and almost everything i do it with mouse clicking even moving while i smoke a cigar i just need 1 hand (dont go that way u perv)

I had it working for all of an hour using my Backbone for my android. Now it's just not detecting the controller at all

I'm having a major issue. When I push A as admin, it opens a screen that says add new player, with cancel below it. I can't figure out how to get it to stop. Any ideas? I'm using xbox controller on my laptop. I can't find how to rebind inputs for controller in game. Thanks.

I think I might try this. I’ve been trying to use my PlayStation 5 controller, which seems to work great. Except every time I use the interact button, it brings up the option in the upper left to add a player. so instead of being able to actually interact with objects, it brings that up and it interacts. Super frustrating

I’m playing Zomboid on Steam Deck. Can anyone tell me what I have to do to activate fast forward. Using the mouse and clicking does not, as yet work as the click has no effect? 🙏🏼
