Thank You.
Ответитьwhat does he say in the opening line? when he says ''the idea of Gestalt Therapy is to change _____ people into real people''
ОтветитьI largely agree with and have benefitted greatly from Perls' ideas. That being said, what's with the smoking? In every video he's smoking like a chimney. "Let me show you how to destroy your lungs as I explain how to live a better life."
ОтветитьThis was so interesting and a great way to get an overview of his theory.
Ответитьwhat was the closed caption person listening to?
ОтветитьI read quickly his biography, he knew life well, I think this is very important for a psychologist
ОтветитьIt is more like now until forever. Since change is always happening how can there be a finish? Nobody has all the answers because the answers always change like us but FP did have many roads to solution.
ОтветитьIncredible
Ответить“...the Gestalt group-therapy technique depends on a single individual who acts as the leader and superego for the rest of the group. Perls made no bones about arrogating himself all the privileges and power of a traditional guru. Implicit in this power is the ability to cause great pain and destruction of others, either directly or by causing the group to turn on, attack, and brutalize one of its members. Perls seemed positively to revel in the power he held over the people in his groups. This is the power that all cult leaders seek to obtain for themselves. It is not surprising, then, that many cults have incorporated aspects of psychotherapy into their rituals. All gurus...are only a few steps away from Jonestown.”—from Against Therapy, by Jeffrey Moussaieff Masson, 1988
ОтветитьHola! Gracias por colgar el vídeo. Me gustaría encontrarlo con subtítulos en castellano pero no puedo encontrarlo.. estaría la transcripción de este video en internet para así traducirlo? Los subtítulos automáticos no son muy buenos...
ОтветитьHis best work was at Cowitching Bay Vancouver Island
ОтветитьMan number one is stagnating in his comfort zone & feels anxiously about his future. He feels like he needs to move (stretch) beyond his own sensible comfort zone. He lacks a do-able plan for his tomorrows.
He no longer lives in the here & now. He now lives in the thought that he is real within the cyberspace. It is the surrogate for the real here & now. It is a time saver, a mere convenience, but lacks the physical sensations, their consequences, learning, & experiences.
he was a father figure of psychoanalytical life
Ответитьpsicologi di noi stessi

Does anyone know if the full video this clip is from is available anywhere?
ОтветитьDoing a report on this therapy technique and I find the means by which he sees to make the intangible immediately tangible is very interesting. The chair exercise is very fascinating. I might want to try this technique once to view its effectiveness.

ОтветитьThis is fascinating and reminds me of a therapist named Joan Bodger who was a student of Fritz Perls. She was a gifted storyteller and used Perls techniques woven into her use of storytelling as therapy. I miss her.
Ответитьdonde estas Salvador Sanchez Sanchez? Mi mentor en terapia gestal en la colonia Vallejo en los 80s en el predio de Antonio Ocampo.
ОтветитьGod! I would love to be his student and his client. RIP. Thank you for sharing your wisdom with us
