ОтветитьThank you so much, I thought this was the end for my keyboard :) Also your voice is very calm and relaxing
P.S. For note: the same way you can replace key on Dell G3. You should watch if those small parts right oriented. Be careful.
My key wont go in
ОтветитьThanks a lot. It really works. Glad it fixed my company laptop
Ответитьmy key cap didnt pop back out, but the retainer still fine
ОтветитьMy daughter removed one Key from my keyboard, and your vídeo saved the day here. Great, many thanks!!!
Ответитьhi so i encountered a problem; i managed to remove the key that was sticking up at an angle and it appears one of the 4 clips on the back of the key which is meant to secure the key flat on the keyboard is slightly melted. by this i mean its slightly warped. ive tried putting it back and its slightly better than before but its not completely flush with the rest of the keyboard. any suggestions to fix this or must i just order a new key?
ОтветитьThank you so much for the video, man. Really saved my ass.
Just a quick tip for anyone who may have had as much trouble as I did, the winning move ended up being to put the front of the clip down first, and push down on the back. That may have been because my retainer clip was shaped a little differently, but that was what I had to do in the end.
I didn't know you weren't supposed to pull these type of keycaps out like you would a mechanical keyboard and pulled out my ctrl like a fool T0T luckily, nothing broke and I searched and this video came up. Absolute life saver.
ОтветитьIt helped me, thank you
ОтветитьThank you so much!
ОтветитьThanks a lot!
ОтветитьIs the Retainer clip broken if it keeps on popping out with the keycap? Because I've been putting the key in and testing it but they both always pop out. And when I put the retainer clip bottom part in, I'm not able to press down the top part without the thought of breaking it, because it doesn't click even if I put a small amount of pressure on it.
Ответитьsaved me twice thank you
ОтветитьDoes this still works for a dell vostro 15 3500?
ОтветитьI'm having trouble putting my retainer clip back in because it's connected to the actual keybind itself. I can put it in, but the back clip always gets loose.
ОтветитьWhat about large keys, like a shift tab? TIA
ОтветитьThank you so much.
ОтветитьThe key of my laptop was lost, later I accidentally holed it with a pin, there is a need to do this problem in the paper below it
ОтветитьThanks for the video.
I have dell vostro 5470
"e" button stops working.Disassembled according to your tutorial. Everything looks healthy, rubber pip looks ok. The button itself feeling as others when clicking Cleaned dust and put back. Still doesn't work. Looks like keyboard replacement the only way to fix...
thank you sir
ОтветитьWhere can i buy the single key? I have a dell vostro 5481
Ответитьthank u so much
ОтветитьI lost the little rubber thing. How can I fix in this case?
Ответитьdear sir, your video is very nice, but you forgot to mention that not all keys on the keyboard are the same, they don't come out the same way, just like all keyboards are not the same, there are keyboards with different keys even if you aim with the same one way to get them out the only thing you will succeed is to break them it takes a little attention to know the structure of the button only then we have success 100% very nice your video constructive congratulations
ОтветитьHow to buy these keys for india??
ОтветитьMy #7 key bounces up and down like it should, but it seems NOT making contact like all the others. Would you say the problem is underneath the center/bubble contact point? Do you have a video on something like that? Also when I get the top/letter off would compressed air hurt anything? tia.
ОтветитьThank you so much, I love you! :D Saved me a lot of time
ОтветитьLol i thought i broke mine bro thanks
Ответитьthnk you brother u r the best u helped me
ОтветитьUnfortunately, I need to replace the keyboard itself...multiple keys are not working...do you have a video that goes over how to replace the keyboard and not just the keys? Thank you
ОтветитьWhere to buy replacement retainer clips? Thank you for the video.
ОтветитьSo what is the thing that actually breaks in a key ?
