How I Got Scammed By Brokers & What I've Learned

Also, there are lots of impersonators pretending to be me on telegram, whatsapp & social media nowadays. I don't manage accounts for people. I don't provide trading signals and also won't message people. I also won't tell you to whatsapp me

I had invested in a broker, deposited some money and now I have made profits. I want to withdraw my money and they are sending emails to pay them money for capital gains tax and clearance fee. I have paid them 7 times an they are still asking for more.. each time making a promise that I won't get to pay anything more... Can I know if it is scam or not?

They block you or they don't allow you to widraw or they scam you on trade I want to know why

I love communicating with brokers and exposing their bullshit whereas their agenda is conflict of interest, for example they are looking for buyers for institutions' short positions (whom they have agreement with, as credit facility clearing, selling their own clients order flow and stuff) -) so they can liquidate and get out then it dries up and retail will lose money to the broker (they buy from them at a loss and institution at a profit in large volume). They always convince retail it's good idea to buy tech stocks like tesla, microsoft and apple with trillion market cap even though by quantitative and macro analysis this sector is crashing down. It's funny how financial markets work, e.g. who's running it. Investment banks, market makers, hedge funds, pension funds and foreign sovereign wealth funds.

Hi, @Karen Foo, I was scammed two weeks ago, by a broker, John Ghatti, or who could possibly be impersonating John Ghatti, he scammed me R1850,99, and thereafter I reported his WhatsApp account/contact after this actions. What must I do?.😭. I've tried everything, I even went to the police station, I emailed my TymeBank Team, but none of that helped.

I got scammed 3 times in a single weekend. It only took a bunch of research to figure it out. Only lost 10k. I thought I was investing and making the right decision. Being new to crypto I was an easy target.

Yes! I can relate to you Karen. I was scammed and not only me but I invited my friends and they hate me because of it. When we were able to triple and quadruple our account we want to withdraw suddenly we can't reach our agent and then after a while we can't access our account. I was so down that time and worst I was hated with my friends because they lost their money too because of me. I had a hard time recovering and told myself never to trade again. But God is so good that I was able to see the bright side of my down fall. Thank you for sharing. God bless..
