A lot of Goff’s misses are throw aways that isn’t his fault

Like the running backs they’re keeping the linebackers fresh

Speaking of Jets/Vikings, the play where Jefferson pushed off the Jets defender then the Jets defender was tagged with DPI had my eye twitching

Bubba Baker would still hold the Sack record, bit he set the mark the year before sacks were an official sack.

Levi and Jamo have been my favorite Lions for 2024 since the coaches started talking about them in preseason. Knowing that Dan and the staff don't BS at all, it was super exciting for two forgotten guys many have already cast off as busts to come around at the end of the rebuild and show that they are the stars Brad picked in the draft.

Interesting nugget - during camp, Zeitler got his first media session as a Lion. Someone asked what it was like to go up against Alim, and Zeitler shook his head, paused and said "Whew! I think we've got two $20M D tackles on that side of the ball, that's what I think!" Eric Woodyard got him after the media session to ask who the other guy was, and Zeitler said "Levi".

AWESOME stuff, and I was sold, especially because Zeitler was brand new and facing them both for the first time after 13 years on Steelers teams... Love this team so much.

Definitely don't get caught up in not appreciating Jack Campbell, and don't worry about the snap counts. Pay attention to him tackling, fitting run gaps and being an absolute MONSTER on the field. Nobody's talking about it, but one of the top 2 or 3 plays in the Seattle game was Campbell forcing Metcalf's fumble. Metcalf had the ball in his left hand, and Campbell blasted him so damn hard from the right without even touching the ball - and Metcalf immediately lost possession. Like he was hit by a car instead of a man. Jack is fiiiine, brother.

After all that hype around his improvement in camp followed with a lot of worry that suddenly he was not looking good & out of sync with Goff, my favorite play of the year so far has to be
Jamo scoring his first TD of the season on 52 yard 3rd-down-bomb to go ahead by 2 scores in the season opener.

I think that tuddy just hit differently.
