Congratulations to Jason! I can't believe the baby is due soon! It feels like yesterday you guys announced the pregnancy. Paternity leave should be standard, he deserves to spend as much time with his baby in the first few months, I bet he will be a great father! He's got a great example in you 💝
ОтветитьAbsolutely correct in making the bathroom clean, bright, and functional while you continue with the rest of the house. I know it's temporary but it is so positive to see and be in. Great job and explanation.
Jason is a great son and will make a fine dad. Very happy that he is getting proper paternity leave! A very important time for his family, especially for the first baby. We have that in my country plus universal health care.

ОтветитьWow! You have an eye for color and coordination. It turned just beautiful. I’m blown away. Since back issues are a huge part of my world, I am so sorry you’re dealing with the same. I am reading a book called “Mind Over Back Pain, and I am hoping the reviews are true. If I could find someone like you in Denver, CO, it would completely change my life. In my state of anticipatory grief, the thought of going into another winter/holiday in a hoarded home, is much more than I can handle.
Ответитьawesome
ОтветитьI'm getting a little weirded out with your shout outs ... every single time you mention them in your videos, I already watch a minimum of two of them. This time, it's all four.
Definitely found my peeps.
I don't know if you will read this but i just had to tell you thank you. I am on hospice and look forward to your videos. They always make me smile and take me away from my reality for a bit. I love your humorcas well. So thank you for being you and being a light in my tough days! Look forward to the next one!
ОтветитьI love the decor LMAO The only thing that made my eye tick was the sticker on the toilet tank UGH Great job....When did you get all of those tats and lighten your hair? hahahahaha
Ответитьlove that pretty blue. You're doing a great job.
ОтветитьWhat a waste of money! You could have gutted both bathrooms and redone most as a permit fix, such as the walk-in shower. Flooring The same temporary vinyl. New toilet, and medicine cabinet. Add the cost of a shower pan. I am sure you can re-plumb the bath, especially if the house has a basement.
ОтветитьLOVE that color of turquoise blue! I have watched videos of Sprague Woodturning. The bathroom looks pretty nice. Jason does deserve time off when he becomes a parent. It's a Lot of first for new parents.
I know - there should be a Big Diamond painting of a moose for your new place! 😂😂
Great job Mack but who's your body double painting ???
ОтветитьI suggest you all Flawless Cleaning. He's a British guy who does pressure washing, lawn care and does huge free projects for old people and people in need. Huge and super satisfying transformations, even some house repair for the cases that need them🎉
ОтветитьThat looks soooo nice! I love the black curtain rods. 💯
ОтветитьYou guys....brilliant stuff.
Who on earth decides the height of showers? That would hit the middle of my 6ft 4" husband's back. I mean, he'd have a really clean back middle but..come on...
The "I woulda just..." people speak from a place of privilege. They have no idea what it would actually cost, but just assume everyone can do that stuff. If you have to choose between food and bathroom reno, well guess what wins.
SB Mowing shirt yay!
Who's the handsome lad?Jason 2.0?!😊😊
Ответитьlooks great Mack, glad one room is doen, carefull of your back working alone while Jason is away,
ОтветитьFriend you are a good man-house is looking good ❤️🙏
ОтветитьOh WOW, Mack, what a great job on the bathroom! It looks so nice and I really like the blue in it. I'm a blue person and it's really cute.
ОтветитьYAYYY! What’s better than having my morning coffee by my hand and watch this now omg
ОтветитьWow!
ОтветитьNice job on the bathroom. Love the mirror.
ОтветитьFast,fab & functional 🤙🏻
ОтветитьGreat video 😊
ОтветитьVery nice upgrade ❤
ОтветитьLooks great. Love decorating videos.🙂
ОтветитьIn France, fathers have 25 days of paid paternity leave (32 if you have twins or more). Mothers have 6 weeks prior the birth +10 weeks after (paid) for the first ans second child, 8 weeks prior + 18 weeks after of paid leave. And we can have extended leave prior and after if the doctor thinks that your job causes a risk to the pregnancy. Then the mother or father can choose to stop working during 6 months up to 3 years to take care of the child but you will be paid only a third of your salary
ОтветитьYour bathroom looks fantastic♡
Thanks for sharing these renovations with us.
Hope your back feels better soon. Also good to know Emily is doing wel too.
Yes, I remembered Jason's little one was due! The only thing I would want is at least a spare toilet and handbasin somewhere, even if living alone. If you have a few family or visitors around might be useful then!
ОтветитьAwesome!
ОтветитьShout out to Spencer at SB Mowing. Lol!
ОтветитьNot long after you said satisfying 3 times I watched you smooth the wall with that white stuff @ 12 minutes and it was satisfyingsatisfyinsatisfying
Ответить"No you wouldn't have just gutted it" cracked me up 😂
ОтветитьWow, ok - this is spooky - it looks like I have those exact same walll tiles. We renovated our 1940's art deco house, and when i had the bathrooms renovated I chose these 6" sq tiles, with an almost textured fininsh to them. The colour is called Alabaster - not white, not ivory or cream...its a cool off white, and i capped it with green retro capping tiles. All these tiles were expired stock 25 years ago and I got them very cheap. I got them for $7.50 per sq m, but today their rrp is over $65 p/sq m. They give a lovely finish but i was annoyed the tiler used spacers as its kinda lost that authentic retro look. But they look fabulous! Great reno!
Ответить“Like painting a powdered donut “. Best description ever! 😂😂😂
Ответить🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
ОтветитьMack, "satisfying" is a word that Aurikatariina uses quite often. It is true, work done well IS satisfying. Just don't do a drinking game with it. LOL
ОтветитьAmazing job!
ОтветитьBathroom looks amazing😊
Ответить❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьGreat job. On to the next one. 😊😊
ОтветитьI may be new at this, Mack..but you said there's no stupid questions.. you covered bathroom walls..won't that rot underneath eve tually come thru ?
ОтветитьTry midwest stockman. He goes around finds yards or properties that look like they need cleaned up. He is out of Detroit..
ОтветитьA cornucopia of antlers and bliss...and also money. :D 😀
ОтветитьBathroom turned out good. Good luck to Jason and his wife and enjoy his time with the baby.
ОтветитьI want to come to Illinois to meet you Mack. Are you down?
ОтветитьSign me in to the moose mittens knitting (or whittling?) society.
I ❤this bathroom. My own needs some freshening up on the caulking, it´s 25 years old and showing. I wonder if there are small tubes of caulk here in Germany...
And you are right, Jim Sprague is a maestro on the lathe.
