wait, superhot removed the suicide thing? THEN WAHTS THE FUCKING POINT! IT WAS GLORIOUS AND THEMATIC AND SHST!
The Internet has ruined everything not just video games
Ответить“Junior educated rich kid” holy fuck that gave me flashbacks
Ответитьremoving fireflies is BULLSHIT, Mojang will say "It's NoT rEaLiStIc!" but it's FUCKING MINECRAFT! THE GAME ISN'T MEANT TO BE REALISTIC! and they could have just made it so the frogs didnt eat fireflies
Ответитьwe dont have game stops in australia, only EB games
Ответитьthe mob psycho music tickled a part of my brain
ОтветитьGreat video, I can't say anything more than what you've already said. Subscribed. Worry not, I won't leave useless messages for you.
Ответить147h for 2 Legends in Apex is pitiful. You get a new Legend every 20 levels. And especially the first 100 levels, fly by in no time at all.
ОтветитьI traded half of my ps3 - ps4 games to upgrade to ps5. AND THAT WAS 300$ WORTH OF GAMES AND THEY GAVE ME $50
ОтветитьDoes everyone have the same rainbow Corsair keyboard?
ОтветитьA net positive just
Ответитьdespite all teh downsides, i still think teh internet has been a net positive. my gaming life would've been so much poorere without it
Ответить7.16 it says here that it's a toggle, so they haven't removed it
ОтветитьYooo you know GGST! I would love a video about it
ОтветитьWait.. THAT was the plot of Super Hot??
Ответитьthe questien shut be has the internet done better or worse for humanity... and my answer is........................................................................................ drumroll please *constent drum sound*............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................ "YES!!!" (good luck trying to find out what i said yes to)
ОтветитьYeah it's the same with Yu-Gi-Oh. I've managed to make 10 decks to play with on master duel, one of them is a joke deck using mostly common cards so only 9 actual decks, and I have like 450 hours on the game haha.
It takes dayyyyyys of grinding and good pack rng to get enough ultra rare tokens to build a full deck it's ridiculous, and then once the decks done it'll take me another few days to grind out enough gems to buy matching card sleeves and a matching board for my new deck so it doesn't just look like a default deck.
And this isn't me just playing when I feel like playing, if you just played online on master duel this would take 1000+ hours easily. This is me only playing when there are events on that get you more money, or at the start of a season to do the new battle pass, these are the only good way of getting any money in game so once i exhaust an event a dont play again for a week or two while i wait for the next one.
Net positive with terrible downsides.
ОтветитьI mean certainly some games (like all media) can glorify suicide, especially since it’s a particularly difficult subject to portray in a healthy way. I haven’t played either of the ones mentioned though so idk if they do or not lol
ОтветитьOk, I'm not gonna look at any comments before I write this so this is seen as my current opinion on this, so keep that in mind.
I agree... sorta. I don't think live service is bad it's just done poorly. and "live service" has existed long before the term was used through mmos which have before and can use it properly however most nowadays choose not to. Old example: WoW or FF14 online. New example: [not mmo] deep rock galactic or surprisingly Pokémon Go [although the monetization can be weird depending on what you want and when]
I agree about creatives focusing too much on feedback on things that are not gameplay related.
Also "in game achievements" I agree and for MP games cosmetics (in my opinion) should be earnable/unlockable, but the feeling of accomplishment is more so found in either just finishing a game or speedrunning it so much your suddenly in the top 100 for best times, and this is not a good or bad thing it's just something that can be useful to the development of a person if used the right way.
It's really just the incentive to spend large amount of money on useless shit that's ruining games. but that aspect is amplified and advertised so much its hard to see and hard to appreciate what certain developers have done.
The (triple A) video games industry "died" because video games became popular with the uneducated masses instead of nerds. The masses are where the money is, and they don't care what you give them as long as it's shiny and doesn't require conscious thought or an attention span. Money spent developing anything other than graphics is wasted on them. They will pre-order the same game over and over again, eternally dissatisfied, then they hop on the internet and read about how it's not their fault for pre-ordering games and ignoring reviews and generally being a low-IQ moron who is incapable of noticing patterns both in themselves and in the world around them. No, it's actually all the fault of "greedy companies", they've done nothing wrong. They don't need to change anything about themselves. They are stuck in a cycle of stupidity they will never recover from. They've essentially turned themselves into a free money hack, and people smarter than them shouldn't feel bad for taking advantage of it. The average "gamer" isn't exactly known to be a kind or virtuous person.
ОтветитьTimes were not better for video games before the internet
But holy shit this pisses me off
I miss it when games used to be finished and i wouldnt find a completely different game every time i dont play it for a year
ОтветитьОк
Ответить" Is The internet is KILLING video games " Yes Yes They Are
ОтветитьUnlocking in Valo is pretty easy if you play everyday ull have all characters within 3-6 months depending on how hard u follow the quests and how good u are
ОтветитьCeleste music :3
ОтветитьRemember the stream where i said it’s probably your keyboard, and then you changed that and your issues went away? Yw for a better elden ring experience. 👍
ОтветитьI'm old enough to have played Pokemon Red and Blue as a kid when they were new. The number of rumors and alleged secrets I heard about that game were staggering. Lots of rumors about how to get mew or pokemon that didn't actually exist. And since this was before you could easily put videos on the internet there was no way to seperate fact from fiction other than trying stuff yourself. I actually started a new save because I heard you could evolve Charizard by getting it to level 100 without any rare candy. Didn't work.
ОтветитьI would trade Microtransactions and Live Service gaming for another decade of QTE's and rail sections.
ОтветитьTruf bro
Ответитьamen
Ответитьif you dont like omori you dont have to play it, that doesnt mean they should revive his sister. the point of elements like that are to actually talk about these things instead of making them taboo. but sure lets make it so that suicidal people cant talk about how they feel.
Ответить"WHY?"
"Muny"
Personally this is why I love blade and sorcery because warpfrog(the creators) are taking so much time to make the full release because they want to make a beautiful game
Ответитьholly shit sonny boy ost hit me
Ответитьthat fucking black smear bug has been an issue EVEN IN PREVIOUS GAMES, bethesda just cannot wrap their tiny brains around modern graphics for some reason...and we can't forget the good ol missing texture glitch that turns the entire sky hot pink if you have the misfortune of logging in during a rad storm
ОтветитьBruh suicide isnt a hobby you pick up when you see it done once in a video game or a movie what kinda idiot logic do these people follow. I'm genuinely baffled
ОтветитьOn that last bit about super hot, another game called Hotline Miami 2 had a similar situation that they handled much better. The game opens up with a pretty sensitive scene, and when it was released for early review for journalists, people complained about it. They ended up adding a disclaimer before the level that gave you the option to opt out. It definitely removes the impact of the scene and betrays the writing, but it avoids cancellation and people getting mad.
