Even if I like Maven, he's all fake and all about buisness.
He even broke his YT character few times when he thought that recording is already off.
He is entertaining, but he's also absolute 1000% fake.
He's frustrated af, he hates a lot of people in this buisness and outside it, but for buisness reasons he's acting ULTRA kind, even OVERHELMING kind.
I would love to see real Maven, frustrated antihero, but ain't gonna happen, he's milking and baiting.
I respect him as a buisnessman and entertainer.
Other than that - you can do better, sir.
Why doesn't this have more views? I know the constant Sam hate from Jim and Sam fans but this is good content, and a great interview by the way. Keep it up. I love that Sam cuts the cameras back and forth live to save himself a ton of time later in editing, pretty smart idea to be able to do it on the fly, and it looks pretty professional if you're watching it live. Nice setup all together I'm sure it was not fun to build.
ОтветитьI had a great WWE first year. Several chair shots to the head from The Undertaker, and i dont remember the first, 2nd ,3rd or even 4the year. Actually my whole career is a blurr.
ОтветитьGreat interview. Maven is great.
ОтветитьLove Maven but Sam Harris is trash, get this dirt bag outta my algorithm..
ОтветитьLebron has the bitch gene.... well said maven
ОтветитьI like Maven for the next NXT GM
ОтветитьI love Maven and I support him, but it killed me when he said lebron is better then Jordan.
ОтветитьSam low-key glazing the hell out of maven for about 7 mins straight 😂
ОтветитьThe wrestling business is a unforgiving business the injuries always on the road the small percentage of people that actually make it to the big leagues then if u do make it staying there is not guaranteed guys like matt riddie who had fans and was well liked was released like it was nothing and so many great performers have been released. I cant imagine being in that business the lows are so low the highs are so high.
ОтветитьIf WWE doesn't rehire Maven within the next 2 years as a manager, commentator, back stage interviewer, something!.!.!.. I'll be shocked!! This man is money!
ОтветитьHe needs to be on TV again in a commentator or management role. His impact there could be even bigger than his in ring career.
ОтветитьMaven has to have egyptian in him.
ОтветитьI’m a former drug addict. Pills. Just like Maven . I’m so happy for this dude .
ОтветитьMaven is a class act. Great to see the love he is receiving for his channel and his interviews!!
ОтветитьI watch Mavens channel just because theway he tells his stories. All the positivity he shows, and even if he has to adress less pleasent topics he always does it in a very respectful way still trying to find some positive wipes to not dwell on stuff that drags people down. Just no drama no dirty laundry, unlike on some other channels. Very refreshing.
ОтветитьHe's just a great host.
ОтветитьI remember when I was a kid playing Smackdown shut your mouth I always thought Maven was the default character 😂
ОтветитьMavens too nice, he really said “this place is nice” while looking at a pile of clutter 😂😂
ОтветитьI don't watch wrestling anymore but I came up just before the attitude era and was 100% locked in and going to shows during the attitude era, so Maven is slightly after my time. But I think I do remember him when he was first coming around as a jobber before he became a mid card guy. Since The Iron Claw came out I got back into wrestling (not watching it) but podcasts and ran into Maven. I really have no impression of him from his wrestling days but he spits the truth about the game, the business and he seems genuine. After hearing some of his pods specifically about wrestlers pay my head almost exploded. I seriously thought that the top guys were making somewhere between 1-5m but a lot of the money coming from sales (this may or may not be accurate, just what I thought) and mid cards more in the $500k-$800k range plus sales and jobbers like $250k-$350k plus sales. But then I came across Maven who broke the math down. These guys have to pay for their own health insurance, even though they are essentially FIGHTING each other 200+ days a year, they also have to pay for all travel expenses, car, flight and hotel plus all the incidentals that coincide with that. Maven stated his best year he went uninjured and made $430,000 but 50% was immediately taken by tax that's $215k. I figured in my head at the time for car rental, gas, food, hotel stay and flight even if you are being cheap as possible you're still spending probably around $200/day. $200 a day multiplied by 200 dates = $40,000. So now you're $430k turns to $215k and then after your expenses turns into $175k and that's before you have paid for really ANYTHING outside of coming and going to your job. This is also before all the injuries they do not pay insurance for as well. It's truly eye opening to see how SHREWD of a businessman Vince was, the man has made billions and billions of dollars. His family his wife, his children and their children and their childrens children will all be fine and that's great! but at the same time you have these guys or I should say slaves working for you probably popping pills and pounding booze at the same time to either come up, come down or even go to sleep much less kill the pain. Very ruthless to say the least, I mean ruthless is like the understatement of the century on this one.
ОтветитьSo i also rewatch Tough Enough from time to time. I found Maven's channel when seaching for where are Tough Enough contestant now.
ОтветитьWhen did he get ownership of the name maven?
ОтветитьJust give Maven a mic and I'm listening. Someone needs to capitalize on this. He should be getting offers from everywhere. Keep my interest is a talent
ОтветитьSo someone on LinkedIn and was like "I know how to make content. Get some midcarder to start talking about wrestling!" and found Maven.
ОтветитьWhat a great show. Seemed like great chemistry
ОтветитьGreat interview. I know Maven was a mid carder at best but his perspective from the golden years is cool to learn about.
ОтветитьI don't think i've ever seen someones public self assessment match up so well with the opinion i've formed of them.
ОтветитьHoly shit he does look like the default template from a wrestling game. 😂
Ответитьtbh this dude looks like bill burr am i wrong lol.
ОтветитьWhy don’t you put a fan on? Get a fan’s perspective on storylines, history, personal opinion on the current state of pro wrestling.
ОтветитьHe should of been a surprise at wrestlemania
Ответитьwait no way did gamersupps hit up maven? yooo
ОтветитьIs it possible that in the future we may get to see a Maven vs Josh Matthews match? Since both are from the Tough Enough era and Josh hasn't technically retired yet and Maven can clearly still go. Odds on seeing it?
ОтветитьWho 😂
ОтветитьI see Maven, I clicked, I watched till the end, I happy
ОтветитьHe has such a mellow voice, if the WWE won't hire him as a commentator, or as an inspirational speaker, he should consider reading books for Audible let him pick the books he enjoys, lots of stars like Tim Curry, Bronson Pinchot, James Earl Jones,etc...... If the WWE want to be ignoramus and not acknowledge you in any aspect you have an amazing voice.
ОтветитьI'm sorry but this guys interview skills made it feel like a fan interaction at an airport. I'm not trying to be a troll it was just rather poorly structured.
ОтветитьIm here for Mavsn
ОтветитьI love him so much ❤
ОтветитьMavens wearing the bee. Another one bites the dust.
ОтветитьWell now we know Momma Maven was an absolute peach. Amazing mother. Pissed that he was wanting to quit because of her. Awesome how supportive she was. The good ones always leave too soon. I wish she was still here seeing how now he has risen so quickly creating content.
Ответить"hey, sam. Maven here. From 2001 to 2005, I had the coolest job in the world"
ОтветитьI’m glad they spoke about umaga, Jeff hardy VS umaga is hands down one of the greatest steel cage matches of all time
ОтветитьYou lost me at Lebron better than MJ, TERRIBLE take. Wtf are you even talking about!? Huge L Maven, lost a lot of respect for you there mane…..
Ответить
