I was a cradle catholic and educated by Irish Catholic nuns in Ireland. I left Catholicism after 5 yrs of 20 decades of rosary daily, divine mercy chaplet 1.5 hrs studying bible. I read St Augustine, St Therese of Lisieux, St Teresa of Avila, St Louis de Montfort, St Faustina Diary, All Frances Hogans books, Karl Rahner, CS Lewis books, Cardinal Martini, some of Raymond E Brown Pope Benedict Anthony de Mello SJ. Retreats with Contemplative Outreach from Fr Thomas Keating and ive read many more books eg Thich Nan Hahn Dhammapada, Dalai Lama. Ive also listened to numerous podcasts with Bart Ehrman and listened to many debates with william lane craig n various well known atheists. I went to many Novenas, Tridiums, Retreats and Marian Shrines. I am in no religion now. I kept up the search for truth and ended more like Meister Eckhart or Buddhist though I am not. I still meditate but do not recite mantras or prayers. However before leaving, i read many of Scott Hahn books and i think he is the best when it comes to explaining it all. His EWTN shows were excellent especially those with Mike Aquilina. I recommend him to people confused about Catholic Doctrines and who have a total misunderstanding of Bible and COVENANTS. If i ever return itll be with the help of Richard Rohr not Scott Hahn or Mother Angelica or Marcus Grodi or EWTN or Bishop Fulton Sheen. I was so entranced with all these guys till i woke up. I believe in Consciousness or The Spirit of Truth as St Paul describes it. Opus Dei is an evil organisation within its innermost circle

The Lord Jesus Christ loves the Church He had founded. Thank You Lord Jesus for the numerous converts to the true Church. Pray for many more to come back to the fold. Congratulations to all who have accepted the offer to enter the Church. God bless everyone. Doubt no more. Come back, the door of the Catholic Church is wide open.

I am going to be 62 . After thirty five years of living out my Christian faith, I realize that I am still asking the same questions that amused and confounded my Catholic mom in the kitchen when I was a child.
I feel a pull to dig deeper and examine what I believe and why.
My mom went home at 58. My dad is 91.
Going to have some good conversations when I visit next month.

I used to love Scott Hahn, purchased so many of his books and tapes. 30ish years ago. I ran into him at the family conference in Anaheim. He was in a book store and i just said "hello Mr Hahn" and he was so annoyed and wanted me to know i was bothering him 😔. Wow, what a busted bubble i had. I walked away with my tail between my legs over someone who i highly regarded treating me that way. So i walked away and got into the elevator. As the door opened there was a priest standing there. He said hello to me and said "I would love to meet Scott Hahn, could you show me where he is?". Well of course i knew where he was so i took him right to him. The priest got a completely different response. He asked me to take a picture of them together, so i did. The priest's kindness to me was real and came at the right time. Needless to say i stopped buying anything by Scott and dont follow anything he does. He acted as if he was a celebrity who couldn't be bothered.

😀 Just learned that " a revert " is not a convert. A revert to a place I took for granted, and instead of going to a parish priest at 11pm on a Holiday I went to another more un-parish like and was in the bowels of a big city: ON BIG HOLIDAY! Good Lord works in mysterious ways this was one of them...

I'm a convert too. I was baptized and received into the Catholic Church in October 1972. I love hearing the conversion stories of others. It re-confirms my conversion and walk through life with Mother Mary and Jesus.

I have a miraculous medal. My maternal grandmother made sure we all got one. My nephew was in US this year and he brought me back a little hand painted medal of Immaculate Heart of Mary. Beautiful. On other side is Sacred Heart of Jesus. Perfect duo. Keith get a medal and Medjugorje.

It's family Scott with a Mother. I was a victim of the rot but did not throw baby out with filthy bathwater. Mother Mary has saved me more than once. I was taken to Her grotto at the chapel with my mother when I was five. Lit real candles then. I asked who the girl was - Bernadette. Who was she looking up to ? 'God's mammy'. Who is She praying to ? 'God/Jesus'. My love of Mary began then. 63 - the new 21 now. Mary is so misunderstood by so many. It is so sad. You cannot have a family without a Mother. 🙏🙏🙏

The whole reformation for the most part was because it was a time that many were poor witnesses to the truth.

I am a born catholic and grew up without a doubt inthe catholic tradition. I believe each thing the catholic church teaches. I love my lord Jesus who is all alltime in life. I honour and love His mother. She has been close to me. But I do feel difficulty repeating the same words over and over again. I ask mother Mary if she really wants me to express my love to her reciting rosaries. The compulsion in the church is is so overwhelming I feel doubt and feel guilty. Jesus loves me so immensely and I know He loves His mother in ways I cannot tell and Jesus was accompanied by her in times He came to console me and His mother compelled Him to come to me because she felt Only he could console me and He came in obedience.......still I cannot get to telling the rosary. My heart aches as I talk about it. Can anyone help me.

Hello Keith. I did not know your channel. My wife and me with our two children came into the Church in October. As you said to Scott Hahn, he helped us a lot to my wife and me too.
Possibly, we would like to write too. We are doing it little by little. But possibly, better not to be in a hurry, as you said. We would love to enjoy our first year of Catholics, and pray and hope all our lifes.

When Dr. Scott Hahn says millennials don’t read as much anymore. It’s too and it’s sad. I have only read so much this year - and now I have started to seek spiritual direction. Born into the Faith but only came alive to these truths in 2024😊

I’m a Catholic and attended a Bible study with different Christian denominations in attendance. Unfortunately, instead of being one in faith it became a debate from varying interpretations of Bible verses. I can see why historically our Christian faith has splintered into a thousand pieces.
My belief in one true universal Mother Church with a strong, solid foundation and hierarchy has strengthened my spiritual being. It has protected me from all the doubt and noise coming from outside and given me peace and serenity.
