Kev, now that you have the money, you have to bring people over from Japan!
ОтветитьWhat about Glowacki?
He had very high potential when you sold him to Legia Warsaw.
Kev you can't make a mockery of America they already did that themselves
Ответитьi know what's happened here: you've absolutely autopiloted through the contract negotiations without checking what kind of contract they're demanding, a consideration you'll only ever have to make at semi-professional clubs otherwise. you can fix your designated player problems by using your targeted allocation money (TAM) you get from the league to convert their contracts into normal senior contracts (this is different from using GAM to buy down salaries and is why you have two secret black budgets and not one)
ОтветитьSo young designated players are counted towards the cap, and you were right, selling one DP does allow you to sign another. As another commenter said, you need to pay attention to what contract people want, because it means you can fiddle with the money rules. One thing I did when in the MLS was use my MLS Funny Money (GAM and TAM) to buy down the wage cap so you can have as many MLS contracts as possible for your youth players.
Can't wait to see you tackle the draft Kev
You can have 3 dps and then sign a young dp. In addition yiu can sign a couple u22 initative players. Do this and youll win the league. The ai is too stupid to do this properly
ОтветитьYou can sign them on short term loans from.the reserves to register them :)
ОтветитьKev wheres Jardin?
ОтветитьNow we need a video explaining the mls transfer system. But told through the eyes of Kev
ОтветитьIs your DoF confusing you maybe with the designations? Do you still have him doing contract stuff?
Ответить"Cash trades" aka normal transfers only became a thing in MLS this season. So for intraleague player movements, a trade is the only option, afaik. Draft picks are very nearly worthless though, so feel free to trade those.
ОтветитьGAM is much more valuable than the equivalent sum in transfer budget due to how you can use it. Transfer budget is really only useful for DPs, whereas GAM can help buy down any contract. Even TAM contracts amortize the transfer fee over the length of the contract to determine cap hit. For any non-DP, Cap hit = (transfer fee +annual wage) / contract length. So it's very hard to bring in players on paid transfers unless they're DPs.
ОтветитьKev on the Canadian thing
MLS has Toronto FC, CF Montreal and Vancouver Whitecaps who play in the league. The Whitecaps are the oldest team in Canada still currently running since they have existed in some form or fashion since the NASL.
The Canadian Premier league was only founded in 2019 so yeah it is exactly like Wales. Also there is a CHAOSM between the two leagues in finances actually very similar to the Welsh Premiership and EFL.
Australian rules are similar. Resigned mid champions league to move to Saudi instead. 😂
ОтветитьYou can have over 3 DPs if any of them are out on loan, not registered for MLS, or on the season-ending injury list. You can only have 3 registered for MLS at any given time. Anyone not registered in the league doesn't count towards the salary cap or any roster restrictions.
ОтветитьMontreal's (and Toronto and Vancouver's) participation in MLS indeed predates the CPL. Similar to all the Welsh teams in the EFL.
ОтветитьThe league is like the European Europe league stage
ОтветитьI’ll give u some tips for managing in MLS. First up drafts are useless only the first player selected becomes any good so use those picks to trade for more allocation money or international slots. Do not spend all your general allocation money in one season because you will not get all of it back next season. Make sure to use your general allocation money for three things. Buying down salary cap, trades for international spots and in contract negotiations for new signings
ОтветитьThe greatest ‘backdoor Kev’ ever?
ОтветитьFor the guy you are calling up, change the filter in top right to include B team he should show after that
ОтветитьCup matches are heavily manipulated in FM. Don’t know why. That’s just the way it is.
ОтветитьThe top three of the Leagues Cup go to the Champions League, so you can qualify that way too
Ответитьthe MLS is split into 2 'divisions' (east and west)..they play more games vs teams in their own division than the other one (making division games a bit more valuable)..obviously its not like a traditional home-and-away set-up, so its not perfect...each division sends x-amount of teams into a knockout tournament to determine the MLS CUP champ (the REAL prize)...that tournament has the east winner v the west winner, so the knockouts are division-centric until the final.
ОтветитьUuh I am sure it hasn't changed but you will probably not use any other pick of the draft than pick 1, if any. Best draft player is around 130 😂 usually.
ОтветитьCan Canadian teams in the MLS qualify for Concacaf via MLS and this domestic Cup?
Internet says they qualify in a tournament versus CPL teams. So is it a Vaduz situation?
Saying " I want big money for him " whilst managing in the MLS makes me wonder :
Do you think Kev bought his Computing degree ? 😉
So I'll tell you this before you start next season: The Leagues Cup can ALSO get you into the Champions League. I know this because I'm a Colorado Rapids fan and we got into the Champions League this season by finishing 3rd in the Leagues Cup last year. So don't just bin it off.
ОтветитьSo, one thing that might help, you can use general allocation money to trade your draft picks with other MLS teams in exchange for their international slots for a year
ОтветитьPro tip: Trade everything you have for permanent international slots.
ОтветитьThis MLS stuff is so simple I can't believe Kev can't understand it.
ОтветитьThe AI is really shite at dealing with intra-league trades so it's definitely something you can use. I tend to burn some of my general allocation money (GAM) in the off season to buy up the first few picks in the first round of the draft (Generation Adidas players) as they're usually good enough to start on the bench for league matches.
ОтветитьAbout your reserve team... MLS NextPro (the league that the reserve teams play in) is a bit weird. Some of the players are signed to the first team or the academy and then sent to the reserve team. However, the reserve team can sign their own players who cannot simply move to the first team.
ОтветитьPro - en - suh
ОтветитьYou can trade other teams for more DP spots.
ОтветитьAbout that trade, Draft picks are SUPER valuable. If you dont plan on being there long then you can get some good trades for them. Imagine using trade picks as buying someone with installments in a way.
ОтветитьIn the Leagues Cup, the top 3 goes to the champions league
ОтветитьMake a mockery of a nation? Have you not seen their President Kev?
ОтветитьMy favourite correctly pronounced name is 'Undluv' 😂 (correctly pronounced - ind-loh-voo) 😂🎉
ОтветитьI feel like i missed something, why is Barton playing ahead of Foose?
ОтветитьThe Welsh surname Davies is pronounced like "Davis" btw
ОтветитьLujo, ignore people's complaints about audio quality, HD gameplay and your computer configurations. Just keep playing how you always have along with your rambling commentary and the rest of us are as happy as a pig in shite!
ОтветитьWhen buying players on a senior contract, the transfer fee is spread out across the length of the contract and is included in the cap hit which isn't the salary - I recommend adding a column for Cap Hit and also Contract Type so you can see who is on what contract. You use the GAM and TAM to buy down the cap hit, so if you pay a big fee for someone, their salary could be for example $5K but their cap hit is $12.5K. Also, you definitely get the DP slot back if a player leaves.
If you have any U22 Initiative slots left, definitely buy some young guys willing to take the contract as they have a max cap hit so you can spend big on those.
I think you can trade for designated player spots? So you can essentially have a team full of them. I know when Clayts was in the MLS that was basically all he did
ОтветитьCheck on Glowacki and Jardin
ОтветитьCharlotte fan (and local) here…. As long as you beat Nashville and Atlanta…. You will be a club legend.
We HATEEEE Atlanta and Nashville
Kev referred to MLS with no "the" 😮
ОтветитьI’m sorry if this was asked before but where do you get the database for all of these countries? Want to try this myself
ОтветитьYoung DPs are not separate from DPs. You could have tried to U22 initiative
Ответить🎉🎉
