viola came in late at the beginning the bass should play only four notes before viola comes in but it was like six

I need help with measures 54-93

Try going more to the tip of your bow at certain parts where it’s piano, also make the crescendos more dramatic. Make your “statements” before whole notes since your coming in and telling whose boss all instruments need that.

my orchestra concert was 2 days ago and the 8th graders played this as their last piece and they did amazing

You did great playing it but viola should’ve came in at seven seconds. Could’ve been a problem with editing or something else but just for anyone else trying to learn the piece viola comes in at seven seconds right after cello and bass are done with four measures.

A little late to figuring out what's wrong but here I go,
1: the viola started too late
2: the cello in the beginning was playing too close to the bridge, making the harmonic-like sound
3: the 2nd violin bowed a little late on their open notes
4: the violins sound offbeat slightly during the viola cello bass pizz section
5: the violin 1 was bowing at the wrong time during the buildup before the second iteration of the main melody
6: the cello sounded sharp during the first slow melody section it had
7: first finger on the bass sounded a little sharp for most of the piece, this happened occasionally with the cello too
8: the violas intonation was a bit off at the beginning of the coda
9: the viola during the middle of the coda was holding out the notes a little too long and playing over the fingerboard

I’m in 7th grade, and my class just got this song today!!

I’m playing this rn in my orchestra class, and I’m a 2nd violin and I HATE the very beginning with the 8 measures of nothing and the 10 measures of nothing at 54 I think.

The beginning sounds just like beyond the thunder...

The viola was late… Violin II was too early it should went after 8 rest…. I don’t see other problems

So I see people saying 6th grade and 8th grade is doing this I'm in the middle with 7th, seems quite like a piece for a few skill backgrounds
