Not true! R type came out on XBLA and did excellently!

I was only 5 when i played R-type for the first time and that was 2003.

My favorite buddy had gotten 15 million gold coins and concluded he was really the man. He wouldn’t tell me strategies about how he did it, however I finally identified the web page which taught him once I observed his internet history. Ahhhahaha!!! He got efficient at buying and selling making use of the Zappo Fifa Gold System (Google it!)

小学生の終わり頃からゲーセンに通い詰めて、生涯最後に全面クリア出来たアーケードシューティングがこの作品でした。
その後の作品は全くのダメダメ。さすがに歳には勝てなかった感じでした。

I remember a game like this on Turbo Grafx game system. And the system still cost more than xbox and ps3 which is $899 on Amazon.com.

これ、今改めて見てみると「なんでR-TYPEシリーズで出しちゃったんだろう？」って思ってしまう作品ですね。世界観も全然違う感じにしちゃってるし、何よりシリーズの要、フォースが廃止されてしまってる。アイデアは枯れてないんだけど、ネームバリューに頼っちゃったんだろうなぁ…(´･ω･)

It's really a shame this game wasn't ported to any console. The Sega Saturn would have done this game incredible justice! It's a bit of an oddball in the R-Type series, but still a very good shooter.

Wow, this looks amazing! The music is lacking tension most of the time though.
