Effortless and chic French girl style SUMMER DRESSES

I've been losing weight gradually, and now I can use a belt to tuck my droopy boobies in. I doubt insurance would pay for a lift as I'm almost 70. I'd like a binder that trans use. I've never wanted these bags except when I needed them to hold milk and also when they showed up in 6th grade and my friends were jealous.

Maybe I’m weird but I just can’t do sneakers with dresses or skirts. They either look clunky or make my feet look too big, a total opposite of a soft, flowy, romantic dress. It’s like biting into a juicy apple and getting a sour lemon instead. I think it’s a look that came from well heeled ladies who needed sneakers for scurrying to work in a big city. Out of place elsewhere.

Decided on the red for that pop of red you keep talking about and wondering which of your scarf rings you would recommend to go with it? Also if you have a video with ways to use your scarf rings? I will more likely tie scarves to my small handbags than on my body to get more use out of them or as a turban to protect hair from humidity and sun. Thank you for your fun and informative content. I am also an old lady “baddie” at age 89. I love your “rules” of the natural look. I do have a tummy and pounds I would love to lose, but am not very committed. I love scarves, color and neutrals. I am a frustrated artist, and use it to plan outfits. I still hope to draw and paint again after retirement, move and getting settled with stuff given away. Love your show.❤❤😊😊❤❤

I was so happy to see you wearing your chopped off red blazer - sometimes I try refashions and get them half done and then get distracted and never finish them so they're wearable again. Your videos are delightful to watch! I’ll be turning 50 in June and have thrifted a fantastic collection of garments and accessories over the years…but there were definitely items I hadn’t worn because I just wasn’t sure what to try pairing them up with. Now I’ve been pulling things out of drawers and closets and holding them up together and trying them on, and have discovered items I already own that work great with those “tricky to style” pieces! I’ve been wearing them and being delighted by them…so thank you! Just for fun, I’d love to see you do some videos where you take a bunch of clothes and accessories you already own and mix & match them to create outfit pairings. That is so helpful to see because it gives a visual idea of how some things work together in ways I may have never thought to try. 😊

That 'I might actually be too big (boobed) for this' dress is gorgeous... would it be worth getting a seamstress to add a 1"-1 1/2" bias band/hem to the top to extend and add height to the cup and around the back? I think it'd really make the dress more wearable for you, while still keeping the overall 'feel and vibe/aesthetic'... while helping you to feel a bit more 'secure'... I'm in the UK, and love your videos (and have had a healthy dislike of underwiring most of my 43 years! ...which with the aid of your videos, I'm now totally ditching, in favour of comfort and cuteness) :) xxx

This was so helpful and enjoyable. I got a curly bob a couple of years ago and realized it is sooo my look. Took years off my face and it’s so liberating to have a style. During this time I overhauled my wardrobe to a classic style but I need some sassiness to complete the look and French Girl style is it and this really helped me to see how to do it. I need to tone down the perfect hair, makeup, etc Thank you.

I love your videos. At 55 my problem is that I have no -- ahem -- silhouette anymore -- completely flat-chested. With wide shoulders and narrow hips, I find that most things make me look like a sausage. Belts emphasize the deficient top. WWFWD? (what would French women do?)

One summer, I worked in Vermont at a small restaurant close to the Border.... often, I saw French girls come to my window and I was literally ASTONISHED. Crisp and so put together.....studying them in their jeans they were immaculate. I've never forgotten this.🌹(This was over three decades ago)
