I am at steps the cleaning up front fenders is work my 70 mach 1 is coming next hood cleaning up.😅.

The factory had 3m rope seal 1/4 size but I used AC pipe temp raping black sticky I cut in half inch lay it down on flange 😊.

I don’t like cars with perfect gaps. I can see redoing aftermarket sheet metal to be better. Perfect gaps is not how factory did it. And at car shows, I see cars with perfect gaps and straight panels. It just tells me the bondo was poured on thick and sanded down.

Question.why did you go the route of the gap finish after primer?

Another good video! Have you ever had a door distort after putting the weight of the window and assembly in and had to redo the gaps?
