ОтветитьThe idea that the Martini has a definitive recipe is absurd. More than any other cocktail the name Martini is merely a template from which to work. A Martini to me is 3 oz gin, 1/8 oz blanco vermouth, 1/2 oz dry vermouth, 1 dash Angostura orange bitters, lemon and orange peel. No flaming (a cheap parlor trick that does nothing more than release volatile flavors into an otherwise delicious drink). However, I would never insinuate this in any way should constitute a consensus. The best thing about the Martini is its LACK of standardization.
